Fellow Pakistani here Yep, I agree We get treated so awfully there, despite being of the same faith. Looks like Jahiliya hasn’t finished in the Arabian peninsula. I get treated with more dignity and respect from the kaafirs here in the United States than I ever did in countries like Saudi, UAE, etc.

I know the sheikh said go to any Muslim country but we should beware of that because now in some Muslim countries they do not allow you to fully practice your religion like in Tajikistan where woman can't wear hijab and men can't have a beard. In Uzbekistan they are making it harder to seek Islamic education too. Subhanallah, in some cases, it seems as if it is easier to practice your religion in a non Muslim country than it is in some Muslim countries, which is truly sad.

The difference is, no one will bother you in a Muslim country. You can continue to practice Islam to the fullest and they will in fact appreciate you and respect you for that even though they themselves may not be practicing it as you do.

Ive never been to a muslim country. Alhamdulillah DFW, Texas has a large population and everything i need mostly. People of bidah exist in masjids here just as they do in muslim countries

I think they do know that they have nothing to do with each other, but that does not omit the fact that there may be a ruling based on how taxes could play a role in what is happening right now in Gaza. it is only natural to wonder about how his money (his situation) might be contributing to things against the Ummah and to think about and worry about the situation and whether he is sinful. and I don't want to participate willingly or not, knowing or unknowingly, direct or indirectly in anything that harms my brothers and sisters in Islam so it makes sense to think and wonder and worry about the Ummah (it's only human after all).

Some people try to avoid sin as much as possible, and even the "smallest" of sins feels heavy. While others think huge sins are just like a fly they swat away. If you want walk on a thorny path without looking down, that's your choice. But don't judge someone who is taking their time and being careful, especially when you make assumptions and might be slandering such a person. But I guess you have so many good deeds, that you're just willing to give them away.
