I’m genuinely convinced not acting your age keeps you alive longer. My dad is older (in his early 70s)had me later in life (he’s a decade older than my mom my sister was an only child for 8 years the I cane along when he was in his almost 50years old) He for real looks and acts like he’s still in his 40s, people in their 50s/60s consistently think he’s younger than them and I love his verve and passion he has for life. He loves technology and his new found interest is now VR. He was playing with my VR this weekend at a small family cookout, and he quickly fell in love with it, it was like watching a teenager, he picked up on it so fast and was overjoyed the whole time.

I got into art and crafting after my Grandma died. She was an art teacher and I already liked doing art but I got more motivated so I could make her proud I guess....? Anyway yep, that my story.

Omg we made paper too! And we actually did it during our Ancient Egypt section of the curriculum to introduce us to “how papyrus was made” (it definitely wasn’t how it was made but it was such a fun activity and solidified my love of ancient egyptian culture and history)

I got into soaping when i was in college. My friend and i would go to AC Moores (not around anymore) and get glycerin soap kits and beads to make keychains. Glycerin soaps got me interested in making cold process soaps, now i do both and tried candle making too

Jackie, what u said at 8:45 really hit me. At home and at school I do everything I can to prove to my parents that I'm the daughter the think I am. When I get anything wrong, I'm also extremely hard on myself. And I will be even more hard on myself now that I'm gonna be a freshman in high school (wish me luck) I haven't really heard anyone say "You need to prove nothing to anyone but yourself", and hearing that from one of my favorite KZbinrs makes me believe that I can make mistakes and still do good in life. I dont know if it makes any sense, but hearing you tall about it gives me a lot of hope for the future. As for the question on the art medium I want to learn. It's definitely resin art. I really want to start to learn it to make dice sets in all honesty as I do a lot of table top gaming. We “made papyrus” in middle school when we were learning about ancient Egypt and it was so much fun. It obviously was like dumbed down easy mode version of paper making for kids but it was a blast! You should definitely try it Jackie :)

Before I took up drawing as a job, not just a hobby, I thought I could never, because I don't have any raw talent, and only got into art in my 30's. PRACTICING every medium and every new skill, helped me catch up, and now people don't believe me when I tell them I haven't been an artist since childhood. More people need to talk up the importance of practicing, I'm so pleased you mentioned it.

I had a friend that was into finger knitting, and one day, she taught me how. She showed me how to finger knit a thin scarf~ But... she didn't teach me... how to stop. I didn't know how to finish the scarf, so I... kept going... until the entire skein of yarn was used up. I now have an extremely long, thin scarf that takes waaaay too long to bundle around myself XD After that, though, I decided I wanted to learn crochet, and I bought up a bunch of tools and yarn, but I never gave myself time to get into it. I'm big into gaming, and that hobby takes up just about all of my free time X3

I come from a family where the women in the generation before mine all crocheted but also could craft everything. My mom and aunt even ended up working in the craft section of Ames at one point. I tried all the things. I still try all the crafts, and I never really get specialized in any. I start a new one every year or two, spend hundreds of dollars and time... then wander off and start a new one another year.

Pour tes cheveux, je te conseille d'essayer des shampooing et revitalisant naturel! Tes cheveux vont être beaucoup plus léger donc plus de texture et ne les laves pas tout les jours, maximum 3x semaine! Ensuite tu peux aussi mettre de l'huile, du genre huile de coco ou de jojoba et ca va full aider!! Le fait de porter tout le temps des chapeaux écrase tes cheveux et les assèche, n'est porte pas tout le temps, tes cheveux vont être heureux!!! :D

Hey Jackie a anime you may like is mushishi it's full of one shot stories dealing with Japanese myths and creatures it's more on the calm side but it does have it's action it can be cute sad scary it has a lot of things to watch it for!

You can do a shadow picture/card without a machine. You can get sheets of pictures that are printed with a 3D scene which is cut out and you use glue pads to put height/depth into a picture.

I got in to crafting becuse as a kid every time I would go see my nan she would teach me 1 to 5 new crafts each time so iv learnt so many difrent crafts and love them
