Am I The Hero? Or The Villain? Sometimes You Have To Break Your Own Rules Of Sim Racing Etiquette

In week #1 of 2025 on Gran Turismo 7, I stayed up super late to practice trail braking. My whole goal was to practice my trail braking. Brands Hatch and Suzuka are absolutely wonderful to practice your trail braking.
Because it was super late for my region, the matchmaking was horrific.... A+ drivers mixed with C drivers, Sportsmanship ratings all mixed together. It was rough. I did not even realize, I got dropped into A SR ranking, I don't even know how or why.
This race had me sandwiched between a B and a C ranked SR driver but everything was fine. During lap 4, into turn 1 a white Ferarri slide under braking and I bumped him wide. Even though I was not happy about having to slow up and wait for him as he contributed to the contact as well, but as the follow driver, it was my responsibility to not hit him. SO I PULLED OVER AND WAITED.
If that happens, I always give a few corners for dirty tires and nerves to calm before I race you again. So I did, three turns later, on a complete straight, he decides to fully BRAKE CHECK me, giving me damage, slowing me way down and taking advantage to run away from me.
IT ACTIVATED THE DEMONS INSIDE ME.
I caught him. Oh I caught him.
I almost NEVER retaliate. Well, I NEVER retaliate over accidents.....this was no accident.
AM I A HERO? OR AM I THE VILLAIN?
This chode immediately played the victim card. I bet the G70 he side swiped into the grass as I was catching up to them would consider me something akin to BATMAN.
I AM VENGEANCE.
All jokes aside, do not drive like this. He even sent me a message, "can't wait to race against you again"......buddy, you are NOT racing anyone. You don't know what racing is. Period.
