Don't be discouraged about the #TeamTrees. I'm kind of mad Ecosia isn't as popular as it should be. You started your own business yourself, and you were the first ones to do it before it was popular. I use Ecosia everyday, and I've donated to #TeamTrees. 'Together' we can fix the earth for ourselves.

Team trees next fundraiser can be international and Ecosia can help with on-the-ground partners globally. Go to your local school district with a plan to increase tree coverage. Most districts have spacd to plant thousands of trees.

I don't feel the playing field of forestation initiatives - or more broadly, environmental/conservational initiatives - is a zero-sum game. In fact #TeamTrees / the Arbor Day Foundation could be regarded as a gateway for many KZbin viewers into this realm, and a gauge of public interest in such projects.

Hey Ecosia! Thanks for such a wonderful and an eye-opening video! As a Bornean who live in Sarawak, Malaysia, the deforestation effect causes by palm oil industry is a crystal clear, yet always have no action whatsoever by anyone else here. To be honest, for to-be-plantation tycoon boss/tauke in the future, please, whatever type of plantation you do have today, make sure it is sustainable, yet profitable not only us as a human, but also for nature. Even us that have not so much power with what this guy did, all what we could do is search using Ecosia (make sure to turn off/whitelist the Adblock, otherwise Ecosia team can't do any good deed with our global forest), use biodegradable plastic/bag, practice and apply 6R and turn off any electrical appliances when not in use. Anyway, I hope that everyone will use Ecosia for the good of mankind and Ecosia will continuously improve it's service and privacy of it's user so that it will be a great viable alternative to the much popular search engine, such as Google. Go #TeamTrees!

Please ecosia correct me if I'm wrong but, you should at least click on an ad and close it right away, you don't need to care what that ad is for, but that way you can be sure that there will be more profit going to ecosia and of course, plant more trees.

Reason why I won't buy anything with palm oil or palm fat in it! It's rather difficult, since every second product has palm oil in it, and yet, whenever I see what the palm oil industry does to nature and humans alike, I'm proud that I can say that nothing I buy has that crap in it. Hey. Two years later :). Why don't we contact them and provide the translated script for the video(s)? It would multiply their efforts with just a few minutes of our own time. I'll give it some 30min every weekend over some beers. By doing so we might feel we are helping beyond using the search engine. Ánimos hermano, nosotros somos el cambio.
