Life Church messages and prayers have played a significant part in my walk with the Lord over the past year as the Lord equipped me for the death of my earthly Father. My dad passed on September 9th. Today with God's strength and you all's words of encouragement and prayer I will speak at my dad's celebration of life. Thank you Holy Spirit for speaking for me, for showing me Father I am worthy of it all. I just wanted to share one of the many testimonies the Lord has given me about grief that has opened my heart to receive His grace and peace. It's an acrostic for Grief. Wish there was a LC close , but rural small towns spread out being 1.5 hrs from a Walmart in most any direction will not see one. Instead of a Big City , a Smaller City would attract many willing to travel a bit in areas , some do that now. A place like Kearney Nebraska I-80 , or Hays Kansas I-70 , would be perfect. If you build it , they will come.

Yes, the comment about “ugly” babies is inappropriate. We are all created in God’s image. There are people struggling today with an unhealthy self image. We need to start looking at each other and ourselves in the way God sees us.
