I work as a registered nurse in Texas , I have worked in middle east also for some years before we came here, dating is ok to some extent , based on what I saw and heard from my coworkers I really feel dating is a curse to some people at least especially if they are not smart enough to make a relationship that can lead to a married life , in US what I noticed if one take a stand keeping the friends in certain distance the other party will also do the same , no push.. no pressure . I have three or four good looking phillipino female friends who are still not married because of not having the ability / skill of making friendship with men , I have thanked God many times for having our arranged marriage culture that helped me to get married , if there was no such culture in our place many youngsters would have been still single despite having impressive good look and education , choose the right thing from both cultures and follow the best , if they can find the right partner cooperate with them and lead them to a right married life , parents also can look for right choice and can help young adult to choose or deny after their own eval as well

In india even if we are 50 years old our decisions are influenced by our parents ,we marry ,we choose our career everything according to their wish and it’s actually making us less independent and we lack decision making skills ,that’s one of the reasons I think we don’t produce great CEO’s and leaders considering the Indian population .
