Before arriving here, I lived in the UK for many years. It's impossible to compare the lifestyle and salary between there and here. Additionally, there are not many good job opportunities in the UK. In the US, an IT professional earns a minimum of 4 times more than in the UK.

Agree. I live in Canada. But I have to agree by biggest fear in USA is being shot by some random person in a public place or my kids in school. I can come to USA on a T1 visa right now and have an RN license in Illinois. But I don’t know whether I will even consider USA.
