@@cestemshow I totally agree about the AM2 as well. step by step guides do not help people confirm they are ready to be sparks. Just aid them to get through an assessment. Not for me, well said.

@@electrician247 This is the final gate. We can give them the info in detail for all the bits they need but they need to be able to put it all together. If not. No, they are not ready.

Welcome, Just note the model forms have changed slightly in design but the boxes mean the same thing.

Thanks Craig for another great video. I guess you are already planning an update based on the BS7671 Amendment 2. Quick question though....when counting "points on a circuit" (Box 5) do you know the AM2 expectation? Do you could switches, fused spurs and all the S Plan/Solar accessories?

Any current drawing point Tim is the rule. If it is a draw of current then yes, its a "point". If its a switch or joint box then no, its not a "point". But we would still check every CONNECTION point when conducting a continuity of cpc test or similar.

There’s a sneaky little drum n base tune that plays during your tutorial, could you let me know what it is.. I’ve tried to Shazam it but it’s not finding it.. Awesome dnb tune and tutorial by the way..

Craig… on 3 phase do you double your PFC?
@cestemshow2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ash. You need to double the highest L-N reading which simulates the reading of L-L. It's actually multiplied by square root of 3 (1.732) (remember star delta?) you will have measured the phase current and need to calculate line current essentially so take the highest L-N and double it to gives you a bit of safety factor as well
