So you have to use the phone app? I liked the remote controls on the earlier chilipad versions.

i usually just set it up and it just automatically runs but i lean over and tap it off if i want it off.

I have been using the Chilipad for a couple months now and I love it! My night sweats have totally gone away. I was worried about the noise when I first got it as I am sensitive to noise, but overall I have adjusted. Do I wish it was a little quieter, yes, but the benefits outweigh the bit of noise it has. I also tried to Perfectly Snug topper and that was much quieter if you keep it on the low setting, but went with the Chilipad because I can get very warm in the summer.

Glad it is working out for you! I think the chili pad is a better overall since water can pull heat away much faster because it has a lot more mass.

I’m very curious how well this would work with earth grounding bed mat? Would the grounding pad go under or over it? If under, would the grounding still work? So many questions.
@AM2PMReviewsАй бұрын
i am not sure grounding is even scientifically proven to do anything but maybe the water pad is grounding or maye you can put the grounding pad under the water so you can still feel the cooling. how thick are grounding pads?
@JoshSpaceАй бұрын
@AM2PMReviews the pad I bought (which hasn’t been delivered yet) is around 1” thick, I think. I bought from Ultimate Longevity, which have the clinical studies on their website. Lots of information on the website. Im sure the water in the chilipad is secure, but having a bed water product and a bed electrical product at the same time might not be best. Haha.

Do you have any leaking issues yet? That's the biggest thing i keep seeing about the dock pro is leaking issues as well as lack of actual customer support.
@AM2PMReviews10 күн бұрын
i have not and we use it daily. i am worried about my cat poking a hole in it.

Can it be used on an adjustable bed frame that raises and lowers the head and feet?
@AM2PMReviews6 ай бұрын
I think so. I can't see why not. It might not work as well though if it is folded.

Does the dock pro generate heat in the room? We have the original chillipad system and we found that besides noisy, it generated a lot of heat in the room since it's basically a mini A/C unit with no exhaust out the room. Was curious if dock pro was better on not producing so much heat in the room.

I dont think so. I have them under the bed. They get so cold that we set them to 74 degrees. It all depends on your RH in your room it seems.

What mattress do yall have?
@AM2PMReviews5 ай бұрын
We have a lot since we review them. Currently, we are on a Helix Midnight Luxe for next week's review. We try to sleep on them for a month or two to really give our opinions.

How often would you have to fill it up?
@AM2PMReviews6 ай бұрын
it really depends on the amount you use it and the ambient temp and the RH. I think I top it off currently like every two weeks. But it all depends on your location. In Phoenix, it is super dry here.

Do you have to pay extra to use the app?
@AM2PMReviews6 ай бұрын
I dont think so. I think you pay for the special mat they can plug in and use the bio-feedback. I wouldn't care about that. I use a sleep tracker ring.

This vs 8sleep if money were no option?
@AM2PMReviewsАй бұрын
Hi Duncan after using both for years i think having two dock pros is great becuase you can more power on each side. the app isn't as nice on the chilipad and it doesn't regulate as well as the eight sleep but it is cheaper and more powerful with two units. I have coupon links if you are interested in either.

Do you prefer the ChiliPad Doc Pro over the Eight Sleep?
@AM2PMReviews4 ай бұрын
Right now i think the ChiliPad is the better deal. We like both but the chilipad seems to be more powerful.
@redoctober00Ай бұрын
Seems expenive for what it is. Need a hillbilly version where u just add some freezer blocks and water pump is used to regulate temp e.g faster flow for cooler slower for warmer
@AM2PMReviews10 күн бұрын
that might work but it might not be reliable or evenly cool.

I came from chili cube and then ooler. The ooler start screaming middle of the night and out of warranty. There are KZbin videos of my ooler screaming. Chilipad won’t repair it so I have to buy the dock pro now. Is the ooler water reservoir larger than the dock pro? Not a fan of the monthly subscription for the app.

Contact them. They will likely asking to record the noise and email it to them. They did that when I had to send back my cube a couple different times. Hope it all works out! :)
