Update: It's now been four months since we got the Dock Pro, and it's still working just as well as the day we got it. We've had no issues with it at all. The way we use it has changed though; it's cold here now so I don't need the cooling as much. But my partner has been loving the heating, especially how quickly it warms the bed if she goes to bed earlier than it's set to turn on. I also tackled the biggest maintenance job this week - draining the entire system. It was easy to drain the control units, but the mattress pad took a bit of time to do as I couldn't hang it over my shower rail and had to keep turning the pad to release more water into the bath tub. Still, it didn't take much longer than ten minutes, and the pad survived a machine wash, which is great. Another great in depth review. This seems useful. Pretty steep , but what it does seems to work.

Thanks - I'm glad you liked the review. Yes, it is quite pricey, especially dual zones with sleep tracking. All of the more well-known bed cooling systems are, unfortunately. At some point, I might test one or two of the low cost water cooled pads I've seen online, but I don't have very high expectations from what I've seen others say about them. Still, I think it would be useful by means of comparison, so it is on my mind to do in the future. Thanks for continuing to watch my videos and leave comments by the way. It's always nice to see you pop up:-)

I find the top side of the surface grid a bit rough with just a sheet. I wasn't sure if you mentioned you put both a mattress protector and top sheet over the Dock Pro pad.

The texture of the top surface isn't the smoothest, I agree. I'm not sure how clear I was in the video, but we have a mattress protector under the Dock Pro pad, another one on top of it, and then a fitted sheet over that. The combination of those two layers smooths over the pad nicely, and seems to work well.

Can you buy this in the UK?

Not at this time, no. I asked them a few months ago if they plan on selling it in other countries in the future. They told me they didn't have any plans to currently.

I think these are still too expensive

I imagine the vast majority of the planet would agree with you. It's all a matter of perspective, income, and how much you need something like this.

@ agreed! I hope this type of device gets cheaper over time, as it would benefit many people

The problem is that there are hardly any companies making them. And the cheaper ones that occasionally pop up on sites like Amazon tend to be heavily criticized. I'd love it if an excellent, budget-friendly version was made, but I don't have high hopes it will happen any time soon.
