I think you need to get a battery in the bee. Even if it's only 30 mins worth; having to have your car on to finish the upload is a pita and contrary to the "set and forget" . Yes, if you're LTE that's a moot point, but having to have LTE to make it truly "saf" seems a bit limiting. Also, on the second bee connecting to the first - surely that's a no brainer? A Hivemapper intracar mesh sotospeak. And lastly, what a refreshing change to hear Merkans talking in metres!! 😉😉

In Brisbane Australia NO options for term payment. Shame for I want to buy two units for my courier van I pump out 800 - 1000 km a week around Brisbane north and south I guess I will just need to save up. I look forward to future developments.

Fabulous show, I'm waiting for my first gen to arrive, hopefully soon. I was wondering if there is traffic ( Chicago area ) would it be better to have camera out the side? Can you use shots out the front in bumper to bumper traffic?

the only reason i didnt get the lte is cause cellular is crap here and inconsistent, its just slower, i feel my cam wont be able to upload everything before i turn off the car at the end of the trip. if it could have a battery so it stay on for couple hours after to provide as a buffer, that could fix my current issue. and the helium plan is only the states, otehr countries dont have the same networks.

A further point - "personal" value from the device(s) depends on where you live/drive. It's illegal to record any third party in Portugal so the "personal value" side of the bee is of no use at all.
