Larry, Thanks for your years of service in the United States Coast Guard. I worked alongside many outstanding Coast Guard service members throughout my 24 years of service in the Navy, mostly on counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean, who always had my six. I want to especially thank you for being an inspiration to others including myself who even in retirement has had trouble adjusting to the outside and have actually been to veteran court at 48 for an offense that could have been avoided if I would have had my temper in check. I look forward to reading your book "Gangster Redemption". With the utmost respect, Rich Huddleston Chief Petty Officer, USN (Retired)

@BOnYTB3 жыл бұрын
I haven’t looked this up to confirm, but I’d assume most are segregated or in one of those prisons that Larry talked about like the one in Colorado with all those well known inmates in it. Especially if you’re talking about high profile ones, which most are. I can’t really imagine them putting a school shooter in gen pop in a federal pen. Again I could be wrong (though with the ones like Columbine and shit there’s no way) because I haven’t researched it. But I have a feeling that the prisoners would find out pretty quick and it wouldn’t go well for those kids.

The way I see the political correctness thing (as a part of a minority) is that attitude matters a lot more than words. The problem, at least in my view, is that when people get in this mode of "everything must be non offensive", they start to see everything as offensive, which is why cancel culture is such a cancerous thing, if anything taken out of context can be offensive, what's left that doesn't offend people?

Awesome video larry. My brother in law was in prison in Louisiana for 8 years. Love the comparison in his experience compared to yours

Hey Larry, what do you think of the idea of putting individual showers in each prison cell to avoid conflict in the shower room?
@LarryLawtonJewelThief3 жыл бұрын

What i foresee happening is a whole bunch of flooded cells.

@@Skankhunter420 nah, because that's where you have all your stuff, and where you sleep. also they'd probably regulate the amount of water you can use.

@@toxpov3612 you have obviously never been in a jail. Which is a good thing. But inmates flood their cells all the time with just the sink and the toilets. Adding a shower is probably not the best idea. Why do you think they made smoking illegal in prison? Not because they care about inmate health. Its because crazy assholes locked in a room full of flammable shit with matches will set their cells on fire. Lol trust me it happens all the time.

Hey, Larry. Will there be a translation of your book into Russian?

Hey Larry, I have a weird question. Is there anything about prison society that you think is better about normal society? Like something along the lines of respect having to be earned in prison as opposed to a lack of respect by some people in the free world. Or do you think the way you have to get respect in prison is too much of a negative for it to not work?
@LarryLawtonJewelThief3 жыл бұрын
great question. I know people out here who would benefit from more structure in their lives, It helps some people focus. respect everywhere should not have to be earned. should be given freely taken away if someone proves not to deserve it. always better to respect a stranger because you never know
