What you've done with your life, Going from sticking up jewelry stores to changing the lives of kids who are on a similar path to you just proves that the Prison system is flawed and needs to be reformed. I think what you're doing is fantastic and I fully support your goal to reform the prison system. I hope you understand just how much you've done and wish you all the best while continuing to change the lives of those who are on a path to Jail. How it works, how the leadership is set up, how someone like yourself gets associates with them, how they make money, how they’re able to avoid capture through the use of legitimate things, the whole “mob owned” buiseness. Stuff like that! Because I know a lot of people are fascinated with the mob and organized crime, but I’d bet a lot are like me and don’t know how it works

Rankings 1. Boss (Don, Godfather) 2. Consigliere/Underboss (tie) 3. Capo (Caporegime) 4. Soldier Then associates who are not "made men" (official members) yet but are looked out for by members if they are good earners or good muscle. Associates may have their own crew of aspiring gangsters. At first, no one could join la cosa nostra (Italian for "this thing of ours") unless you were 100% Sicilian. Not even Al Capone was actually in la cosa nostra. Years later being Sicilian OR Italian was acceptable for being made. If you want to learn a lot about it all, you should look into how it all started in NY. Look up Joe "The Boss" Masseria and Salvatore Marranzano. That will lead you to Lucky Luciano, Carlo Gambino, and many more pertinent figures.

One of the hosts (FPSRussia kzbin.info) served a couple months in federal prison in late 2019 for a minor weed charge. It would be a great conversation between you and the other 3 hosts to share stories. It's a weekly 4hr podcast but some guests do 1-2 hours if they can't stay. Each episode gets 100K+ views and Kyle's "return from prison" episode from 5 months ago almost has 1 million views. Contact DrChiz if you're interested, he finds guests for the show twitter.com/DrChiz, this would make a great episode.

Hey Larry! There's a low probability you'll see this, but I just thought of a question I wanted to ask you. When you were a thief did you ever pay your taxes and if so how did you do it?
@dixiechampagne28924 жыл бұрын
I'm an income-tax prep volunteer, and I don't know the correct answer to this, but I aim to find out. My best guess is that, while it is certainly within the jurisdiction of the U.S. Tax Courts, the IRS tends to go for the low-hanging fruit (pun intended) such as the 50% penalty on untimely RMDs from Traditional IRAs and such
@charlestilley25762 жыл бұрын
That was a BS charge, glad you were cool about it (although highly pissed). What the officer wanted was likely for you to assault him, which would automatically mean street court, in addition to their kangaroo discipline court. This means an automatic 5 extra years in street court nationwide when found guilty, if Federal is like most States (maybe worse). Not going to say all guards are bad, yet we didn't call most "Pigs" for no reason, as many were. They get their rocks off when there's 5 or more of them to 1 inmate, beating him almost lifeless, then files assault charges & wins. What they don't realize are that most aren't lifers & some will know at least some of these guards, and Karma's a bitch. I recall a Director of an entire State's prisons being taken out via a fake pizza delivery, he comes to the door & killed on the spot. If memory serves correct, was an AB or a more violent MS 13 gang member. Once released, they still "owe" the gang for lifetime. Larry, I remember seeing this video when I started watching your channel, I still felt it was as ridiculous then as today. Kind of like cops on the streets, there's more serious crime taking place & here they are 3-4 deep against someone with a $50 or less sack of weed & no weapon. Instead of taking on the real criminals, some will take the easy pickings. In other words, they're scared of a real gunfight & being evenly numbered. Not justice in my eyes.

Thanks for the Honesty Larry and exposing the prison system for such a vindictive and ludicrous charge they put on you, a lot of people would never be as forthright and honest as you and as you say who doesn't do that it's a natural healthy thing.

It’s really crazy to think that there has been so many events happen is Larry’s life that the way he explains it is like a movie. Plus the fact that all the information he includes goes into so much detail which shows how smart this man really is.

There's actually a phrase to describe the spectacle of having a legal or disciplinary hearing (basically proving that the formalities were followed) even if the result is pretty much decided regardless of the defense. It's called a "kangaroo court" - basically, a trial just for show to apparently demonstrate that "due process" was followed.

Larry how are we rehabilitating inmates and training them on the changing technology outside of prison? I'm sure like you and many others doing time or a long time during the 80s 90s or even now the technology is very different when you get out and it might overwhelm some inmates
