Blackness as an identity is an extremely flawed concept . Race as a skin colour is doomed to fall apart , ethnicity is real ,race is not.

I don't know how to explain how this interview felt for me, there is some anointing that came with it. I just listened to it this morning and after listening I had the urge to pray. Then the song Goodness of God played in my head, and I listened to it all the way to work. I don't know why, but I feel that it will make sense soon.

This entire conversation was such a joy to watch. My favourite part has to be when Ama spoke on her journey with blood and water as well as Gomora. That entire conversation about being at the right place at the right time and that that doesn't always look glamorous, really hit home.

This is by far my favourite episode. So refreshing, authentic and inspiring. It is such a marvel to see a young talented black woman rooted in who/what she is and so confidently too. I watched S3 of Blood & Water recently and Ama is absolutely correct in saying she is a brilliant actress, the good sis did not lie! ... God doesn't say "go for it. Do you"... He's very loving and gentle, but He also is a holy and wise God who requires obedience. Yes, if one goes astray, He's so loving, merciful and kind that He embraces us right back.

I really cannot fathom the depth and amazingness of Ama. there's a lot that young women can learn from you. I also learned a lot and unlearned rather, I got so many confirmations of some of the things I was struggling with and i'm gonna implement it in 2023. You are so amazing and very beautiful.
