I've got this exact Rossi M518, mine does not have the pinned barrel, had box and both grips with it. Fit and finish on this era of Rossi's was their finest.

The Rossi revolvers imported by Interarms were of better “fit and finish”. I picked up this model approx ten years ago - used - for $150 at a local gun shop. A great little revolver 😊

I picked up a rossi 88 , very similar to the model 36 smith . Was in very nice condition, bluing is very nice , locks up good . Has a pinned barrel, but has aftermarket wrap around grips. It also has a different looking cylinder release

I have one. I’m getting very hard extraction after a few cylinders, despite good cleaning. Having to press ejector rod against a hard surface to extract.

@@nklinski some of my 22’s eject hard too- sometimes you need to run a bronze brush or a mop with flitz through the cylinder chambers with a drill on low speed to polish them.
