The problem they have isn't that they want their picture taken or not, the problem is they think it is illegal. And as such, the are so conditioned that big government and regulation is good that they can't fathom anyone so blatantly breaking the law. It is simply appalling to them and they must do what they can to protect society from such scofflaws. It is really sad actually and a sign government has failed.
