So Brandon's job is to make you look like you know what you're doing. Got it.👌😁 My first RC car was an Associated RC10 pan car run with a wedge body and a BIG piece of lexan on the side used for a sort of wing, more or less a very primitive sprint car. We ran on HARD packed Carolina red clay made into a banked oval using Ni Cads that would barely run the length of the races that were 4 minutes. Don't really know how slow we were running but we thought we were FLYING!! Our tracks were a LOT smaller than the one in this video. Man we had fun😁😁👍👍Now you can hardly find any kind of track here. Don't think my reflexes are good enough now but I could have rocked that track back in my day. Thanks to AMain and YOU for bringing back some most pleasant memories.😎👍👍

Nah, It got to be a battle to keep up. Going from stock to running fiberglass/carbon fiber chassis then to belt drive and direct drive, all the little upgrades that cost me way too much. I just sold out everything to the LHS and he put someone else right into running a fairly decent rig so I guess everyone came out OK. Then I went out and wasted my money on an '82 Honda V65 Magna. Look that up. Man that thing was scary fast.

On the stickers on the side showing the engine, it needs to have headers instead of open exhaust manifolds. It would look cleaner on the sides. That is a sweet body, and kit. Those cars stick to the dirt really well.

I agree. I was having some headers 3d printed - that's why there's none.

I need to see if there's a story about Custom Works. When I raced off road in the early 90's I saw their ads for their dedicated (and expensive for the day) dirt oval kits. Pop back in to the hobby, recently, and see they're still around. Must not have been the niche market I thought it was.

The wing makes a huge difference. I pulled it off to try it wingless...just to see. Un driveable with the same setup. Couldn't even make it a few feet without spinning out. Not gimmicky. The cars respond to minor adjustments in a big way.

I can’t believe with a manual so lacking that there would be a decent build video of a how the 50 body pieces get cut and mounted.
