She refers to the place as holy.. she mentions destruction of the country, even the destruction of the Earth from the face of the country if the righteous liberal minded freedom fighters don't vote right.. Basically following the same played out platform they are all running on: "must stop Trump".. They say that because they have so much hate in their hearts they refuse to even have dialog with those they disagree with. They call them the most vile names and give them the most vile and hateful attributes. Then turn right around and want to smell their own farts while they preach love and togetherness. Typical braindead democrat behavior. I don't say that to imply the republicans are much better, but they honestly are most of the time. They just don't seem as dumb most of the time.

Giacomo Leopardi "L'Infinito" (1819, he was 21) THE INFINITY This steep hill was always dear to me, And this hedge, which mostly The gaze excludes from the last horizon. But sitting and aiming, endless Spaces beyond that, and superhuman Silence, and profound stillness In my thoughts I pretend; where for a little while The heart is not afraid. And as the wind I hear rustling among these plants, that one Infinite silence at this voice I compare: and the eternal comes to mind, And the dead seasons, and the present And alive, and the sound of her. So between this one Immensity drowns my thoughts: And wandering is sweet to me in this sea.

@@richardtaylor5319 Well maybe that is why she is there then. Perhaps we can agree that many would find her inspiring, while many others would find her to just not be a good poet at the same time. I find it hard to be inspired by any poetry I don't find to be very good. The use of words in unorthodox ways needs to be done both artistically and sensibly for me to be moved by them. What she said here seems to me like something any average individual could put together on a napkin in 5 minutes. Her message also seems contradictory. She is clearly appealing to the democratic platform as of now. That platform is to defeat the current opposition because if they don't the country is going to be destroyed. That is the only platform they are running on. They openly hate the opposition. They label the opposition as terrorist threats to democracy and have no desire to listen to anything they have to say. So she says they need to vote properly to save the country. It's not so different from a republican mindset. At the same time she throws around concepts of loving one another. She only says that because democrats respond to catch words just like republicans do. That love she speaks of is not meant for everyone in the eyes of that crowd. She's talking about loving illegal immigrants or people with various lifestyle choices. That is one of the defining examples of how democratic platforms differ from republican platforms. A conservative might say "we need to stop illegal immigration because ___". A liberal response might be "but we should love and accept everyone." She is basically being paid to help push mindless lies that *the republican party is solely responsible for seeding hatred in the country, so they need to come together as enlightened loving individuals to save us from it. It's basically sub-par intelligence energy all around.
