Tears runs down my face every time I see Amanda recite " The hill we climb" . It makes you realize how personally damaging January 6th 2021 attack on the US Capitol affected me deeply and how the Donald Trump administration affected negatively so many millions of Americans lives and how he divided us so terribly. He exposed the ugly hateful side of America. Then one bright winter day on January 20th 2021 an amazing 22 year old very beautiful and a very intelligent black lady named Amanda Gorman our Nation Poet Laureate delivered her poem called the " The Hill We Climb" at the inauguration of US President Joseph Biden created such an amazing powerful healing storm all over this country and the entire world. The ripples and wakes this amazing poem has caused are still causing millions and millions of souls around the world to tremble and to rejoice with great hope and relief that the beacon of Humanity that once was called The United States of America is slowly coming back to complete it's unfinished union, battered, damaged but not defeated. Let's all over the entire world take Amanda Gordon poetic words into action because we saw it and now we are all empowered and bold also brave enough to all be an example of it. Thank you Amanda Gorman . You have proved that the pen is mightier that the sword.. Words when spoken truthfully and with purpose and might also right the results are so powerful and everlasting to enrich our common Humanity.
