thank GOD they uploaded this, this was all-around one of the most transcendent concerts i've been too at nec and this magical lil piece was definitely the highlight, but i couldn't find any other recordings of the orchestral version, so i'm really glad we have this now :)

Terrific! Don Palma really gave a gift to NEC when he started this ensemble. It's great to see the players enjoying themselves - and, as I've said before, thanks for including the audience's response at the end. I would think this piece will become very popular with flutists/piccoloists (if it hasn't already).
