Sam Colton, who is meant to be Rebecca's father created Amanda The Adventurer WITHIN the game, so they essentially are characters, who are meant to be part of Hamelyn, the fictitious film studio inside the game. I have many theories I commented almost everywhere. 1. Amanda and monster Amanda are related but also separated. Like, we knew in the previous game she could transform. But here, it was like there are the same person but with different personalities. While Amanda was in the tv, her monster self was OUTSIDE. In the “When you’re feeling bad” Tape, When we have to invent a story (knight, princess, wizard etc..), and that Monster Amanda tried to attack us, Amanda pleaded it to not do this and let us try. When she was happy with the sad story and that Monster Amanda was about to attack us again, Amanda stopped it, convincing it to let us go. See my point ? 2. The Opposum is Jordan (Joanne’s brother). In the “Do you feel safe ?” Tape before I think the True Ending, when they all lunched at the screen, stuggling and wrestling to get the opossum away, it screamed : “Jo..Jo- JOH !!! Jo-..JOH- JOH-AHH !!” “Coincidentally”, Joanne’s name is with J.O.A. He was about to complete before the guys shut him up. Why would he randomly start screaming that if he didn’t know Joanne ? There’s no doubt of this. 3. I don’t think Wooly’s on our side. Because you can see that Amanda hates him more for some reason, he’s like keeping Amanda from truly “express” herself through the games and…well, We still don’t know his true identity. If he’s a trapped kid, what’s his real name or anything. In the treasure hunting, when Amanda founded the clothes inside the ground while digging, Wooly didn’t even say anything and immediately looked at Amanda and reburried it, trying to brush it off. Most of all, he didn’t even looked shocked ! And…if you look closely at the True Ending, it wasn’t Amanda who attacked Joanne. The monster was different, had some wool and a more animalistic ferocious head. Especially with that familiar ear raise. It was him. Who killed Joanne.

⚠️GUYS, HEAR ME OUT !!⚠️ We have 2 outcomes here ! As Joanne said, Entity Amanda is protecting the tapes from getting destroyed ! It is also shown after Jo smashed a tape and is killed. On the other way, even since the Pilot game, Wooly wants the tapes to be destroyed ! When Joanne didn’t do it (in the true ending), Wooly himself came to probably do it after gruesomely killing Joanne. My theory is that he wants the tape destroyed so that nobody could see Amanda ever again, and so save her. But she wants us to leave the tapes intact (as shown in the Pilot where a force stopped a man from burning the tapes), so that there may be a chance !

This chapter gave us no pleasantries or anything lol. The developers def read our theories about Wooly, so the fact that there was no implication of Wooly being evil in this chapter, means we can cross that theory out. It's much bigger than that. Our theory about the demons was correct, but the company's origins and intentions remains unclear. The new characters are confusing, the 3 different art styles being used throughout the game made it even more so. Some hooded accomplice of Kate (where the hell is she? Did she snoop too far? As did Sam??) we know for an hour, dies in front of us and that's that?? We're on our own once again??
