Clarification for common questions: 1. The size of the booth is 0.8-jo, aka size of 0.8 tatami mats. 1-jo in Tokyo is about 1.5 m2. These 0.8-jo booths are usually designed to be vocal booths, aka you stand up and record singing in there, and the internal dimensions are generally closer to 75cm x 120cm. Just the same as her really. Treating a friend then having no money to go home happened to me multiple times in highschool. The worst example is when me and my twin decided to treat our friends to a diner during our birthday. Turns out I didn't have enough money to pay my share of the bill. I really thought I had to wash dishes for the restaurant just to pay for the food lol. I don't clearly remember how it ended (I probably blocked the memory), but I think our friends gave some contribution to pay for the food. This one is extra lame since it was basically a tradition in our friend group that time to celebrate, and the birthday boy will be paying for the food. Most of our friends that came that time are my twin's friend, that I met through him, so I'm not that close to some of them too. Kanata's part time experience is pretty much my college life. I haven't eaten grass like her yet, but I used to eat rice with salt and water as meals when I was a child because of money problems. Doesn't help that we have a pretty similar personality too. I'm unapologetically lame regarding clothes. I often don't get dirty jokes too, and I have a friend who automatically explains those to me whenever a dirty joke/word is used in our group. She also talked in another stream on how she imagines herself as Rantarou to overcome her shyness when streaming. I developed a similar technique, and it surprised me that she thought of that too. I guess great minds think alike eh? 😊

@@cedrick25 I learned this pretty late but honestly, college is not that bad. People are friendlier since most are past their hormone-driven, egotistical teenage brat phase. You'll just need some initiative in making friends. If you're the introverted type, follow Kanata's Rantarou example. It's actually quite effective. As for me whenever I get cold feet, I imagine myself as a performer and say the phrase, "It's show time". Sounds pretty lame lol, but it gives me the right mindset, and suddenly I'm extroverted "performing" at my best.

Was wondering why they didnt just soundproof the room, then I remember those were rentals, but still, there are many ways to soundproof the room without ruining/touching the walls...might need a bunch of thick foams/pads/blankets to soundproof the floors tho, some small rentals in japan have thin walls. 30°C? That's pretty normal here in the Philippines~ Kanata and Coco might want to carry cool drinks with them at all times should they decide to visit here one day.
