I think historically speaking it was among, if not, the first big youtuber groups, and definitely the first Minecraft youtuber group. Their collab videos before TC were always the best. I remember when it was announced back in the day, their commitment to doing more collabs was really exciting! They could’ve done anything - I think Ssundee or Bajan's biggest video at one point was them just running around the house having fun with Nerf guns - but looking back at it all, TC didn't really do anything. They took cool pictures, setup brand deals, had a cool opener, and then nothing. I do think it taught all future KZbin/team ups a lot though.

Many years ago, I had seen the episode of drama alert where they had talked about not seeing their child. I decided to go on Twitter and tweet at Alyssa and call her all sorts of things, which she responded to, saying we didn't know the full story. Years later, after seeing the truth, I tweeted at her again, apologizing for my previous behavior. She responded and accepted my apology, saying she knew we were too young at the time to understand, and that she didn't hold it against us. To add to Adam’s list of crimes. What he did to Basher. Basher was talking to a friend that’s a girl from school 7 days after he turned 18, she was 17. Adam heard girl, friend and 17 and ran to keemstar, crying paedophile. Keemstar ofc ran the story as Adam told it. Ruining Bashers career and life. Basher put out a video trying to explain what happened and his thoughts of self harm but he suffered a mental breakdown during it. The video was scooped up by the internet and memed to oblivion. Basher then deleted the video and his channel… until 2020 when he came back as Toasty his mental health recovered enough to resume posting videos. But of course when it was getting better for Brandon, it just got worse. Basher contracted covid relatively soon after he started his channel again. Sadly he did not survive… I am well aware not every aspect of this is Adam’s fault but if it wasn’t for him we could have years of content to look back on in memory of Basher but instead we have a handful of super old videos and whatever videos he featured in on the sdm channel. I don't trust Adam, not anymore. I can't go back and watch old SkyDoesMinecraft videos, because what they did was so bad. One thing you didn't mention, was that with Tim, he actually worked late nights editing videos and caught JinBop voicing with young fans on Skype one night, when Tim went to Adam and tried telling them what Jin was doing, Adam basically ignored it and told Tim to mind his own business. When the news broke out that JinBop was arrested for child pornography, everyone was told to keep silent and Adam faked being surprised at the news, even though they knew what Jin was doing. I hope they get better, so they don't harm others anymore, but I can never look at Adam the way I did before. Adam did so much harm to others and a lot of what I read was graphic and horrible. Also with Sub, if he was actually employed under Adam and he worked 20h/daily for them at age 15, Adam violated child labor laws, which I believe probably fed into Sub's pretty harsh dismissal.

SetoSorcerer was my absolute favorite MC CC back in 2013. I followed him for a long while, made some "iconic" fanart of Seto and Team Crafted and some other popular MC CC of the time, that people still recognize me for. After his sudden disappearance, I had desperate hope one day, he'd suddenly come back. I would check for any activity from him, because I was worried that disappearance just meant gone from the world forever. When he unofficially came back around 2017 from his friend's content - Classic Psy, playing Portals 2 together, I was overwhelming enthralled that I literally cried. He was my comfort YTer back then and hearing his voice again literally brightening up my dark world. When he officially came back in 2018, I was so excited to have him back, that he was doing better, that he was taking care of himself. Team Crafted did him so fucking dirty, because he's such a sweet guy, he just a dude that wanted to play video games with his friends. Ever since he's came back to the internet, I've been blessed to have the opportunity to grow close with him, developing a friendship, help him learn how to draw, becoming an admin on his server to a shoulder to lean on when he needed it. I've heard so much of his stories about him and Sky. I just want the best for him, not as a viewer since 2013, but as his friend. I mean, Ssundee prioritising the YT channel over his and his family's mental health DID lead to them splitting for a while, only to come back after becoming crazy religious - with me using the word crazy because he deadass put out a video that said "if you believe in God and you're wrong, no harm no foul. If you don't believe and you're wrong, you go to hell. So just believe in God for your safety," (irrespective of what your true feelings and beliefs are). I'm happy the guy pulled his family back together & started prioritising their happiness over the channel and that that's the worst it gets, but I ain't gonna pretend it's all sunshine and rainbows either.

@@SaintoftheHonesti don’t consider that crazy. I think ssundee is fully convinced of the truth of christianity, but he’s not an evangelist. You can look at how the world has changed because of christianity and you can look at how society is decaying due to the move away from christianity in modern day. Regardless christian principles lead to a better life, so yes believe in God, and you are wrong, no harm no foul. At worst, you dont get to be a sexual degenerate or hateful person, don’t believe and wrong, then thats a long time spell in the pits of fire. If he was an evangelist, he would point to the fact that the old testament, proven by the thousands of recovered manuscripts, were written by multiple different men, in multiple different locations, in multiple different time periods long before the time of jesus and yet throughout the old testament is filled to the brim of prophesy of Jesus. From genesis, Abraham willing to sacrifice his son Isaac, believing there will be a resurrection, but instead for God to provide a perfect sacrifice. Or the story of the flood, where Noah and his family escape judgement by being shielded in the ark that was sealed by God. Just like how Jesus took on our punishment so that we may receive grace and everlasting life by being shielded in his righteousness. All the way to books like Daniel and Isaiah. Daniel 9:24-27: “Seventy weeks are determined. For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression,To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness,To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy. Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command. To restore and build Jerusalem. Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times. And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate” Daniel lived displace in Babylon, under the rule of a new king. him and his people were forced to leaved their home and lost their temple. There was no temple. And yet the prophecy from Gabriel said - that the city and temple will be rebuilt. That there will be the arrival of the most holy one, the messiah. Who will be cut off, but not for himself. That he will put an end to sacrifice. He will finish the transgression, make an end to sin,to make reconciliation for inequity, to bring in everlasting righteousness. As he shall be the one who makes desolate. And for the second temple to be destroyed. The city was rebuilt, jesus walked a perfect life, took the last sacrifice on the cross, so that we may all be saved from sin through him, and the second temple was later destroyed. Maybe to someone who doesnt beleive in God at all, its not as convincing but for the jews who this was written to, long before the death of Jesus, christianity is undeniable, because if Jesus is not the messiah, then the messiah that jews are waiting for is never coming. Isaiah 53:5-6 “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was upon him. And by his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way. And the lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all

At the time, I was online-dating a 21-year old (yikes) so I assume that's why they felt 'safe' including me in the skype call and private mc server I was invited into. I remember I didn't play with them very often or for too long, but I did get extremely uncomfortable vibes from them. This was a brief moment in my life, but a lasting one for many others and I'm lucky to have dodged that bullet. Timeframe was around/just after Team Crafted being a thing, I remember having just watched one of their videos when a friend of mine who I'd met on MC msg'd me on Skype about wanting to meet Sky. So this was definitely a thing they had always been doing. I feel absolutely disgusted by them looking back, and there is just a twinge of something personal every time I see their face. I cannot imagine how much pain and suffering they have inflicted upon others who still have not come out about their experiences. My friend, I lost contact with you years ago, but I hope you are doing okay today. As for Adam. I truly hope they recover and that they become a better person. Actually made me so sick to my stomach to learn what had been happening behind the scenes as I watched one of my all time favorite KZbinrs. I also had no clue about the diss track situation, that's manipulative asf. They are probably not redeemable in the eyes the KZbin public, but hopefully they really have found their peace and is working on bettering themselves, because it sounds like they needed to.

I feel so betrayed and stupid for believing in them. I can't bring myself to even wish they're doing better as the signs were there with max and ross especially. But I have to remind myself I was young and gullible and as much as my past self was proud of knowing better I didn't. Looking back is harsh because he helped me go through a rough childhood that's some sympathy I respect though.

i feel like a large part of why all of their channels took a downfall was the influx of new, very young watchers. they all felt like they had to baby up their channels (especially bajan canadian with that whole toys era) which made them lose their original audience and ultimately the new audience who started liking them for their original content

I'm glad that despite all the awful things they've done, you put in the small amount of effort it takes not to misgender Sky in this video. They're a vile person but misgendering even awful people only serves to treat that basic respect of using someone's pronouns as conditional

On the whole Adam issue, if it's true that they have Bipolar-Schizophrenia that would easily explain the erratic, emotional and downright harmful actions they performed on those around them. It's definitely NOT and excuse, but it sheds some light on what might've been going on behind the scenes. Until recent years (and even now it's still decently rough), mental health hasn't truly been recognized in a proper way, especially disorders that can cause violent outbursts, be they emotional or physical. When the person who has said disorders AND the people around them are unequipped to deal with such situations, things quickly become messy for everyone involved. In a way, I feel for Adam despite how wrong that may sound. I deal with a similar disorder that can cause me to jump to actions I regret, be they negative towards myself or others. It's no easy thing to control and I can only imagine the turmoil Adam went through with it. While I am still appalled by the extent of Adam's actions, all I can truly hope is that they get the mental help they need and that those who were affected by their actions have healed and are far better off now. I don't necessarily believe Adam is this evil and awful human being to the core, more so one that has spiraled out of even their own emotional control and made some horrible decisions. At the end of the day, we are all human and though it may take a while in some cases, people have the ability to change and better themselves. The whole situation is just so sad.

Hey @ShamPee, thought I'd add some more to the Mitch section. In mid to late 2021 he launched a (short-lived) minecraft RPG server semi based on Runescape. He had made several (now unlisted/privated) collabs at the time (including yours truly, GaminLogan which is privated but I have a copy of in my private archive). I know some other creators like ThirtyVirus and KYR Speedy both played on the server at some point so may have some old footage around. That was, until the server's playerbase disappeared and at the tail end Bajan started several new channels before Sunny & Melon. Some of these other alt Bajan accounts were called I believe Lime, another was Doodle, and another two? I don't remember the names of. Basically, when you say he never gave up on content creation, you barely scratched the surface as he has even more channels tucked away most people don't even know about haha.
@slayerofdarknssdmt96973 ай бұрын
What happened that made everyone leave though?
@GaminLogan3 ай бұрын
@@slayerofdarknssdmt9697 made everyone leave the server I assume? Number of things, the server gained most it's playerbase from streamer/youtuber ThirtyVirus playing it and then Simon of Hypixel fame offered him a $5,000? challenge to speedrun hypixel skyblock on a new profile for quite some time after he went on vacation so the people playing because of him mostly vanished. His move back to hypixel shifted the about ~1100 players down to 300ish in less than a week and it just went lower from there. Drama between players, staff and other things also didn't help player retention. They completely overhauled the combat of the game a few months in as well that made it from Runescape Copycat to generic fantasy. This change took a while to develop so updates got pushed back, and generally took too long. People hoping for new content quickly finished what was there and just hit a wall, then to top it all off one of the devs got "poached" by a big tech name so less devs. Eventually Bajan sells part of the server to I think the team behind mythic mobs (bit fuzzy on who) and they start to "rework" the server a year or so after it closed down which has some beta game mode playable and the mmo part will "come back" in the future but has no one really playing at this time, Bajan's name and ownership almost in name only as he focuses on his new YT channels and projects.

Skydoesminecraft was my childhood and I used to watch his stuff as a means to cope through school but, damn, as a kid, you really miss the signs of everything. I remember the Alesa and Sky controversy and I remember feeling bad for Adam and thinking that he shouldn’t be separated from Mason but after watching this and looking back on things, he really did push the story of “she’s the evil one for breaking our family and taking my son away.” narrative into an audience of 10 year olds (going by how old I was then). I never knew what really happened until today from this video. I really thought that these days, more of these youtubers are getting caught in controversies but it really is just that nowadays, we have a better means of actually collecting evidences and voicing information compared to way back when these things were still getting off the ground.

I feel like Sky was the most influential of them all, but to hear how much bad and hurt he did to others is shocking. I never would have thought he'd be that type of person, but I sure hope he betters himself. I also hope those that he hurt are all okay and doing well for themselves.

crazy to think I watched Adam growing up as a kid, WAS one of the best minecraft youtubers i would watch after or during school. Watching sky and his minecraft vids made me want to become a youtuber at some point and thought he was super cool and funny, eventually I grew up and stopped watching him. Completely forgot about him at some point and until like 2022 when I heard about the drama but not the full story of it, but how he just wanted to see his son, made me feel bad for him. But now, as a 19 y/o who understands the full story, I don’t feel bad after what as happened, the things he’s done to everyone. I can’t believe this is my childhood youtuber growing up as a kid do things like this, I just hope God Forgives him for the things he’s done and For him to accept God cause God, our heavenly Father, Is the only one who would actually forgive him for the mistakes he’s done
