I like the balance in this - I know you're a fan of the Arch Enemy parts in particular (yes, Queen Gossow is a powerhouse, and that solo kicks ass), but I truly believe the sum is equal than its parts, the combination and mix is what makes this *really* good. The Yin/Yang is not an outlandish parallel. And while I generally feel that blunt political messages in songs are cringe-worthy, this one feels acceptable enough.

@@bostjancretnik4007 They've improved their live performance a lot! A lot better now than they were back in the day. The new lead singer (Jake changed to Nils in 2017) was a great choice. Live he brings a lot of power to the band, and you can see how they move and talk a lot more confident.

seeing and hearing angela back and especialy that she is in her perfect shape, like never left, like those 8 years never happened, she is so amazing i miss her so much, she is just too huge, her legendarity is immense, i felt such joy watching and listenting to her, i never even dreamt that she could return, the event for me is almost the same if Tarja would rejoin Nightwish, i would just die from happiness. this Angela's come back is almost same hype for me... i am still under euphoria, though it was released days ago...

This is Angela Gossow (who's the first vocalist of the band, now manager. She has solo work and colabs). Angela (and the current vocalist Alyssa, who can sing operatic or regular rock) have vocal technique on point. Growling("fry"), without technique, blows the vocal chords, damages the larinx, but Angela and now Alyssa know how to do it properly, not using the chords mainly. To work well, the woman has to have a natural deeper voice: contralto, mezzo contralto. Some mezzo sopranos or sopranos can "fry the voice" if they have a long vocal range and can go down in note scale, but it's more rare.

Wrong guys, I'm not here for Amaranthe. I'm here for Elize. I've seen two reactions to this already. VERY dissapointed. No zoom to Elize with the white robes, only some very distant and few seconds. But otherwise it was good. Yeah a beauty and beast duetto. Angela's vocal fry worked kind of an instrument as Elize sang on top of it, and it worked well in the beginning as a frustrated cry. I'm not a big fan of vocal fry, but it's OK sometimes and even good sometimes. Very well made video, the two kick-ass beauties steal the attention though. Somehow I have a feeling Amaranthe has done this music dozen times already. But maybe it's because I saw this video many times already.
