Something to note about the video clip: most if not all the props were things they found lying around where they filmed. The shots of all the debris and waste are real too. Just to show how important their message is. Cadaveria did the vocals in Opera IX, they started in the early 90:s. It's more symphonic black metal so it's not exactly the same style as Angela but I think she is one of the first (but there where probabaly more before her).

AE will never come close to topping that show. One of the best death metal shows ever and Angela’s was one of the best live death metal vocalists ever and obviously musically live they were at their best at that time with Chris still in the band. Band is a shell of its former self without Angela and chris. Angela’s power and brutality is unmatched Among female vocalists

she said in some interviews that she would be in arch enemy until now, but her voice was kind of dissapearing, because she has never teached techniques and practicing so basicly she screamed all her voice out... so she needed to get out amd stop singin... just medical issus u know.I agree,AE with angela was badass, nobody in this genre with female singer wasnt even close to them, back then.

It’s not arguable imo. Harsh vocal wise she’s easily the best especially live. She’s one of the best death metal vocalist ever live regardless of gender. Nothing live they’ve ever done comes remotely close to the rise of the tyrants Japan show. Johan was cool and the band was kickass at that time but I honestly don’t think he was actually that great of a vocalist, he fit the music at the time the. Live tho neither Alissa or johan had the kind of power and stage presence of Angela. So for me I’d go as far as saying she’s not only the best AE vocalist but one of the best live death metal vocalists ever.

So, Angela retired from Arch Enemy and turned the keys over to Alissa. Alissa's former band The Agonist is now fronted by Vicky Psarakis. Alissa was a little more manic with The Agonist, singing both clean and fry in split personality. Vicky is more like Angela, so she sounds more deliberate and switches styles less than Alissa did. While I prefer Alissa over Vicky for The Agonist (and really miss her clean vocals, which she doesn't do at all with Arch Enemy), I also prefer Alissa over Angela for Arch Enemy (I wasn't that big a fan of Angela's Arch Enemy), and I do like Vicky with The Agonist, and I like Angela as a guest vocalist like here with Amaranthe. You can't have everything, but all three singers are pretty much where they should be at this point in time...
