Good effort. If the camera hasn't reversed things, and you are right-handed, you might find work at the anvil easier if you have the bick pointing to your left as you face it. 👍

Interesting point - I've always had my bick to the right as I face it. I'll have to think what it would be like to have the hardie and prickel holes to my right, and the bick and table to my left....

@@theamateurblacksmithYep, joking apart, it's tried and tested as the most 'ergonomic' set-up; I'm right-handed and tried it the other way at the start, it seemed more intuitive. But as soon as you need to use the bick properly and regularly for anything, it becomes apparent that the left hand being able to access the bick so easliy makes most sense.
