Of course we are, as we are also to avoid the leaven of the teachers of the law. Our Savior commanded us to proclaim the Good News, the message of salvation and not of the condemnation and judgment, otherwise we are just the teachers of law that put the impossible burdens on every around, while not helping anyone at all.

I need prayer. I was born again many years ago and Jesus is my Messiah, but I don’t have the power to resist sin. I do repent often, but romantic attraction is so powerful that I dishonor the Almighty.

Jesus knows your heart, brother! And who is anybody else to judge you for experiencing things in the flesh, when there is not anyone in the flesh who does not experience those things. And are they not from the Father? Are they not part of His plan? After all, look how much good there is in a romantic attraction. Union of a man and a woman in marriage starts with romantic attraction, is it not? Children are born from the romantic attraction, are they not? There will be those that see sin and evil in the things that come from the Father, because they themselves choose to live in sin and evil. They will judge and they will be judged by the same standards. But you, my brother, are saved by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He gave His life on the cross for your sins, so keep praising His name, keep doing good with whatever was given to you by the Father and plant the seeds of salvation into others, not the seeds of destruction and judgment, because we know, that there is only One to judge us all. I pray that your relationship with the Lord keeps growing stronger, brother, and that your worries and concerns are resolved and lifted up from you, in the mighty name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
