Greetings, radio enthusiasts! I'm Stuart from the picturesque city of Moncton, NB, Canada. My journey in amateur radio began nearly three decades ago. While I took a break to focus on business, my passion for radio communication persisted. I proudly go by the callsign VE9SRC, formerly VE6SRC or VE4SRC.
As a young boy, radio captivated me, tuning into AM stations from Niagara Falls and exploring broadcasts across Canada and the United States. My military career as a Radio Operator further fueled my interest. Shoutout to my lifelong friends Mike (VA7BZ) and Leroy, whose influence was pivotal in my journey into amateur radio.
Life After the Military:
Following my military service, I ventured into IT in Calgary, eventually starting and selling an IT marketing firm in 2022. In 2023, I embraced VE9SRC as I rekindled my love for amateur radio, a story familiar to many Hams returning to the hobby after decades of work and family commitments.
