It's funny, but I hope Mafu doesn't mean this advice. 😢 I dated someone who used tricks like that, it was not good and I needed a long time to recover. I don't like manipulation. It's a big red flag if I catch it.

This is what predators and ab*s*ve people do. I really hope he thought this was a funny answer and doesn't believe what he is saying....

I had a best friend that was sickly manipulative and it's just horrible, i'ts like they're controlling you with the feeling of guilt. and I hope he doesn't meant it too. after all, he had a similar situation with his ex-wife.. it would be weird if he actually mean it..

@@rawrxune I'm sorry you made bad experiences! Stuff like this really sucks. He did give menhera advice for comedic purposes before. So I hope it was just that. Because otherwise it does put what happend with his ex wife into a new light. Until now I just assumed that he had been joking, when he talked like that.

I haven't been in a relationship before, and kinda bad at conversing with opposite sex. His advice in the first half sounds kinda good. Always shows the person you like your smile(for good impression and make rhe person remember you). After a while, if you get comfortable enough, you can show your sadness (when you really encounter it of course, cause it's really not good to lie. Doesn't have to be something so big... for example, "I saw this movie yesterday..." Then you can make one conversation..! But the part that he said to suddenly look very distant and don't care at all doesn't seems good.
