Hi! Please see if the Zepp App is syncing with the watch. If the sync works ok, try going into the: Zepp App Click on Bip 5 in top left corner Health monitoring Turn on Active HR Monitoring option There are other sleep settings there too which should be turned on. Hi! I haven't actually tried doing this given the Bip 5 doesn’t have Spotify or any other streaming apps to download playlists and listen to music straight from the watch to earbuds.

My Bit 5 came today, one thing I discovered is that the 80+ watch faces are not included, only around 4 are included the rest seems you have to purchase them separately.

@@thewearableist I found where they store more free watch faces. If you go to Profile then to Watch Faces. If you click on the 4 leaf clover in the upper right it you show you a list of watch faces. I didn't click on all of them but it seems up to the face called "Time Tunnel" are free. So over 80 are included they just don't make it obvious as to which ones are are aren't. A option to separate the paid vs non-paid would be very useful.

Nice one finding that Francis! I had a similar issue trying to filter out free and paid ones. Amazfit keep updating the app so hopefully they will add a filter soon. Previously in the Zepp App there also used to br a 5-star rating for all watch faces and apps - but from who (presumably Amazfit themself 😆)? Amazfit updated the app in the middle of my video editing process a couple of weeks ago and now the star ratings are gone from the app.

How to increase accuration GPS bip 5? my bip 5 always lose the gps when running, even I run in clear track (w/o trees, buildings, etc)

Hi. I couldn't find any settings, and given the Bip 5 only has a single band antenna there's that's set to connect to all satellite systems configured by Amazfit by default, I'm afraid there's no way to boost the GPS signal. I suspect it might be a faulty device, suggest seeking a replacement as it should be able to track your runs even in congested areas.

Hi! No, the Bip 5 has a built-in GPS antenna. You don't need your phone with you to use the Bip 5's GPS for outdoor activities, having your phone with you won't make it more accurate. Hope this helps!

Hi! That's very strange indeed. I found a sub-reddit here where some Amazfit GTS and Bip 5 users had similar issues after a software update: www.reddit.com/r/amazfit/comments/120vv3o/sudden_battery_life_decrease/ www.reddit.com/r/amazfit/comments/1fep1h5/battery_drain_bip_5/ Did you receive a software update on your Bip 5 before this issue started? You could try putting it in Power Saver Mode and see if anything changes: Swipe down from top to bottom on the watch face of the device to enter the Control Center, where you can access Power Saving mode. Overall I feel like it might be a bug due to a previous update. You can submit feedback from the Zepp App so Amazfit can look into it. Hope that helps.

Hi. When I reviewed it, there was limited emoji support (only some showed up, not all when receiving messages). Check this sub-reddit out for more information: www.reddit.com/r/amazfit/comments/16hzmqi/bip_5_emoji_support/ Not sure if you can receive different language texts on the watch either - I think you might be able to given the watch supports multiple languages but I haven't tried this personally. Regarding Alexa - there's just Alexa built-in, you can't download another assistant like Google Assistant unfortunately so stuck with Alexa. Hope this helps in some way 😀

4:08 Why is the text cut off for “Incoming Call” and “Bluetooth Call”? On my sons it says… “Incoming Calls” - Displays incoming call information. You can ignore but cannot answer the call. “Bluetooth Calls” - You can answer or hang up a call using your watch. And on neither one does it have any of those setting besides like a call delay option and how many seconds if you want it to delay.

Yep you can. -open the workout -press the 3 dots in top right corner -pick Workout Report, then Share -you can share the workout report to social media from the options provided

I read online that you can use custom pictures for watch faces. I don’t see how to do that. I see the ones that are on the Zepp app but no way to like add my own pictures. Is that something the bip 5 can do or is that something newer models do?

You can do this on Bip 5. To do this: 1. Open the Zepp App. 2. Go to Profile (bottom right corner of app). 3. Select Watch Faces. 4. Scroll around mid-way down the page and you should see a section called 'Portrait Watch Face'. Select Use Now within that section. 5. You can now upload up to 3 portrait images and customise a couple of settings to your liking. This way you can use upto 3 of your own images as watch faces, along with showing time and other things on the Bip 5. Hope that helps.

Hi! If you're looking to view photos from your phone on your smartwatch then the options are limited outside of WearOS / Samsung Galaxy watches. On the Amazfit Bip 5 you do have the option of using your own images as watch faces (up to 3 at a time).

Does Amazfit bip 5 vibrates when it loses the bluetooth connection? Update: I was told by the manufacturer that this feature was not added in this model. This is the most necessary function for me, because if I forget my phone then the watch is useless.

Ah that's a shame! Garmin wearables have this feature where if the connection to the phone is lost the watch vibrates and gives a notification. of course, Garmins are at a different price range...

I got mine . Took me a while to get Bluetooth calling to connect to my iPhone. I’m still trying to figure out why the steps seem so off.

Nice one! The steps will be off (not sure how much your Bip 5 is under or over counting), but for example on some days I drive more than usual and sometimes whichever watch I'm testing at the time, it will over count steps for that day. Bip 5 always underestimated my steps - it might be down to the algorithm and sensor sensitivity in the watch itself. I found this on Reddit for manually calibrating steps in the Amzafit GT4 watch, not sure if Bip 5 has a similar setting but might be worth checking: www.reddit.com/r/amazfit/comments/15wixok/inaccuracy_with_my_step_counter/

Ah ok... The iPhone may also be off by some steps. The only way to find out then is do 100 steps and see how far off the Bip 5 and the iPhone are from 100 steps. That will give you a margin of error and you can decide if you can live with it or need to return it.

Hello! Pressing the button on the right side once should bring up the apps on the Bip 5. If its a new app, then make sure the watch syncs with the Zepp App before looking for it. If its not in the list once you press the side button, try swiping right on the main watch face and check the list of apps there. Hope that helps!

Ah right. It might be worth uninstalling and then reinstalling the Zepp App to see if it works. I know Amazfit update Zepp frequently so you're probably right. I'll trawl around the internet to see if others are facing the same issue and raise it with Amazfit.
