Thats why I am Not even mad when one ore two Things are not correctly working rn. Besides the T Rex is lighter, while still having a nice Design with a Great Display.

@@NickBEADG Wrong. Amazfit is worth 279, but Garmin is not nearly worth 1000. considering that its garmin and has some features more, maybe, just maybe 500 would be an okayish prise. Dont forget that garmin has competition in their own house. You can get the FR955 with nearly the same features for 300 as well.

The mapping is a whole different thing. T-Rex3 seems to overlay the route just over an "image", the garmin has a whole map system in it and know all data by itself (and can calculate it by its own)... that makes it a bit slower.

Yeah but I See no reason why Amazfit couldnt Change it. The Amazfit UI is Crazy responsive and snappy in General. Either they have insane developers or a much better processor. I would guess the second one. Maybe they will have routable Maps in the Future . The Problem I See is, that Maps are expansive and getting detailed own maps even more.

It's should be able to, but I've not had such luck with the few trails I did so far

I had problem in trex 2 running distance compared to my polar grit x pro. A 10km run in polar watch is equivalent to 9.65 - 9.70 km in trex. Trex2 is recording less running milage and have high heart rate recording both in running, HIIT and swimming workout. While in swimming trex 2 covers a larger distance compared to polar watch. It's so much irritating to loose such a distance gap. I don't know if there is an improvement in trex 3 especially in regards to milage and heart rate.

I will now wear the Rex 3 as my first Amazfit Watch. If I am satisfied I will buy the rex 4.

@@BenBensen293 they need to add the speaker and ill get the 4 for sure , maybe fix the trails with a firmware update on the 3

Regarding the difference in ascent. Could it be that the Garmin only measures up and the Amazfit measures both up and down?

... when the workout was a round, then the start and end point is the same and the ascent... When a watch measure it right, the ascent and descent should be the same.. if it measures wrong... it is different (like on the t-rex IF it was a round trip, if not... the garmin may wrong)

7:09 - is the Trex3 limited to 4 fields ? I've never seen other configurations so far.

4, 5 or even 6 fields can be set without any problems. Additionally, several such boards can be configured for one sport, activity

You can have a Lot of Pages with each up to 6 Widgets. You have whole Pages with diagrams ne the Map Page ofc.
