I have had amazfit watches for the last 5 years and love them..keep coming back even after getting a galexy watch ultra. All this trex needs is a speaker for phone calls, payments in the US and Spotify support...

Agreed on all points. I was hoping with the mic that it would have a speaker for calls, but sadly it is not there this year. Payments may come in the future, but I think Spotify is going to be tough with the cost of those kinds of partnerships.

After trying the enduro 3, the fenix 8 51mm MIP and the epix pro gen 2, I'm now wearing the trex 3 since I don't use all the features from garmin to be able to justify the price, I only care about good battery for now.

Very good video thank you.! I had some Amazfit' watchs (Pace, Stratos 2 &3) and I went to Garmin (Instinct 2X) for 1 mean raison the "live track" I'm 52 and I run always alone so it's very important, is the Trex 3 able to deliver something like that?? (sorry for my English, I'm French).

It doesn't support that at this time. That is a good feature though and given how the company keeps adding features to Amazfit watches it may be something we see from them in the future. Thanks for watching.

Bought it for 350$ yesterday (everything is more expensive here, the fenix 8 is 1200-1550 and the fenix E 950), still worth it, though the waiting for it to arrive is a pain :)

Great review., I have the T-Rex 3. Do you know if I can download local hiking trails onto the watch? So when i start a hike.. I know where to go even if I never hiked said trail before?

just a question about flow and phone calls: how is the behaviour of the watch when paired with earphones? is it possible to fully use Flow and phone calls?

The watch plays music stored on the watch via the headphones. When a call comes in then it shows up on the watch, but you can only hang up or reply with a text message (assuming the watch is paired with an Android phone). There is no way to answer a call with the T-Rex 3, even when connected to a BT headset.

My left wrist measures just about 19.5 cm (7.7 inches). It is indeed a perfect size for me and there is a LOT of power in the watch.

Hello, I do cycling and want a smart watch for heart beat tracking and health monitoring. Hard to decide among Apple Watch s10, Amazfit T3 and Garmin 265.

Do you want to use the watch for HR tracking or connect to a heart rate monitor? Would you mount your phone to the bike handlebars for a better “bike computer” type of experience? I assume you are an iPhone user, correct?

Unlike some other Amazfit watches, there is no Alexa support on the T-Rex 3. It looks like Amazfit is focused on its Zepp Flow natural language assistant instead.

Exactly. However, I know many people do not want to wear a watch to sleep so my point was that you could wear a Helio Ring and by charging your watch while it sits there off of your wrist you would essentially NEVER run out of battery.
