Omg...this is beautiful song. The majority of the Spanish ancestry of Puerto Rico & Cuba comes from the Canary Islands (My father comes from Puerto rico). Although we have our own history, howeverI I can't help even but describe the feelings I felt from this folkloric song. It's darker conection to the roots of colonization & the stuggles to survive . The Tainos Indians sadly shared much of the same as the ethnic guanche of canary islands.

Sad for you and all of us. We have been taught to embrace and love those who are destroying the Amazigh as people and a culture. Language is arab, the religion is Islam, the fashion is what Islam allows, perhaps the Burka. The Amazigh women after being arabised have just few more rights than an animal. The values are the Middle East values. Despite the fact that 2 Pharoes were Tamazigh, 3 Roman Emperors, 2 Popes, The greater warrior in the World Hanibal Barca . @azzzanadra5 жыл бұрын
@@jesusdiaz3679 arabic is a good language, poetic, complex, i wouldn't say amazigh should be eradicated but it doesn't compare, and i as an amazigh would like to learn it one day, you can learn than one language you know, it's in the same way as how native americans speak english now, it is not their language but it is beneficial. as for why they are hidden in the atlas that's because the ENTIRE green region of north africa is mountains with few plains in it, my grandmother and grandfather spoke kabyle before it was legal, and so did my father and aunts. so what if they had to speak arabic? they also had to speak french, you also had to speak your demanded language, it's only sensible to gravitate to a maximum point of sensibleness.
@jesusdiaz36795 жыл бұрын
@@azzzanadra Arabic, French and Spanish can be poetic, complex and all the adjectives that you care to ad. However, the imposition of those languages reflects almost the death of the ancestral language of North Africa. It is very encouraging to know that your ancestors (amongst many brave people) spoke Amazigh when is was forbidden and hope that now that it is legal you can try to emulate them keeping alive that precious ancestral language.

@blackynevado10 жыл бұрын
GreeneyesSalma It is believed that my ancestors were isolated in these islands for more than 2500 years, and when it comes to language that is a huge amount of time. I guess they spoke an old-tamazigh. But without books and any other form of writing, this old-tamazigh changed with the pass of time. Even, some people say they wouldn’t be able to understand from one island to another. Then the Spanish arrived in the 15th century. and everything changed There are some tamazigh words in our Spanish dialect, especially proper nouns. But frankly I’m not sure how tamazigh they are. For example: ghumār (tamazigh???)----> Gomâra-------> Gomera (Canarian Spanish) mahār-at (tamasigh???) ------>Mahorat------> Mahorata (Canarian Spanish)
