honestly for the majority of the shown normal usual rock records in europe the mentioned 20$/30$ is definitely too high for used vinyl - maximum 6-10 €= 8$ -12$ which a normal collector would pay. if there are really rare 1st press ones from 20€ onwards. but I am sure in usa you have enough customers who pay this

Condition is important if your selling records at the top rate. Just having a bunch of copies does not mean they are not scratched. I only buy mint or near mint for my collection

Prices are way too high on some stuff. You can find a lot of that stuff for $1 at thrift stores all day long. Still some great records there. I would just never pay what you are asking for a lot of it.

Elton Johns GHs $4-5 on Discogs, you are at $15 (All VG+ listed copies), You can get a VG+ copy of that John Mayal LP for $3 all day on Discogs. etc. I am not ragging on you. I just do not like seeing people just getting into collecting paying those prices when they should not have too.

I am guessing that your knack of knowledge of having a retail location in southern california that gets a lot of foot traffic makes you leave a comment like that !!! But to answer your question I am in southern california about 15 from the beach and young kids come in that are really into vinyl now and they think a beach boys record is super cool and will buy it . Might take 2 months to sell all of them but that is okay its not like I can replace them , finding records in SCA is very hard ! and since I don't need the money I can hold out for the $20 that I know will sell and don't need to take the $5 today !

Look up the run out number on the records for a better search on discogs. Lots of records in collections often have the wrong sleeve with the record. Sometimes the records maybe worth more.

Records 101: 1. Records are not priced too high. Rent in California is. #facts 2. Music truly is collectable, a piece of history's culture. You are owning a personal copy of the master disk. Vinyl is an incredible time piece, like art the value is set by whatever we desire it to be. One day $1 another day $200, another day $1500 Like Picasso, Basquiat, Warhol etc. Those paintings go for Millions now, it's art...sure we can make a million presses & prints, but it's something about the original. It's not just $1 to be devalued as it''s only worth. You are holding a record from 1960's, 70's, 80's - that has survived this long. That's powerful, The vinyl out lived the artist/ creator is most cases.... These iconic artist are deceased. So many people lost things in wildfires, tornadoes, eathquakes, floods, hurricanes and here stands a RECORD from 1968 - WOW!

Spaced Out had a few interspersed with Leonard Nimoy... The Garbageman (with The Cramps) is a harder one to find...but still worth the time to listen for hours on end...or until a disagreeable neighbor decides to pack up and move out of the neighborhood...

20 Bucks for an album isn't a bad deal however I did notice some album covers had damage to them (Which is my biggest pet peeve about used records) The jackets are worth as much if not more than the records themselves I have collected records for 52 years and the worst of the worst was a Grand funk album E Pluribus Funk (Extreme water damage with a truck-ton-of mold on the album) took 12 hours to clean it 6 hours per side (What a-pain-in-the-rump) I now have the coin jacket for this killer album I enjoyed seeing what you had for albums I live in Maine and hope you show more of the albums in another video The only one that caught my eye was I believe Y&T Meanstreak which I don't have that is on my list Keep up the great work on making these killer videos

Renee The Greatful Dead records are worth more than the Elton John, Beatles Def leapord, Stones Pink Floyd etc.. In fact they are worth more than most other records. Google it
