Loving the new toilet Anton. A successful Japanese Swedish fusion of styles. I really liked the gorgeous wallpaper cloth. I noticed how you didn't need any step ladders to do the ceiling 😃. Looking forward to your video on the finished house.

What a great idea, Anton, the fresh wood planks on the ceiling! So professional, you are, it's easy to see you've done this MANY times before! You have an excellent eye for what goes together well, creating a fresh, high-class look out of common materials. Excellent touch today.

This is the start of a great transformation. The wall and floor color are nicely complimentary. Next level professional detail would be to caulk the gaps in the base board at the corners and along the top edge. So simple and 1000% worth the minimal effort. Saw someone else mention not to paint/stain the wood features until adjacent room colors are decided, great suggestion but ultimately finishing the wood detail will take it home (along with the future new washlet)

Wow, this is amazing! I'm from Brazil and the houses are very different here. You said 10000 yen is cheap, but how much is the wage in Japan?

For context i worked part time in Tokyo 5 years ago at a random restaurant as a waitress and I got about 1060¥ an hour which was close to minimum wage in Tokyo. 10000¥ is not much in terms of wage in Japan.

I get paid 999 gatrillion yen a second and all I do is watch KZbin videos while hordes of unpaid white American worker slaves shovel truckloads of yen onto my driveway. 😂

The door looks nice. I would suggest not painting it if oyu decide to until the room in front of it is done. You may decide it's right as it is. It's much harder to unpaint a door.

What are those white streaks on the wallpaper? I think the door would blend in better if it was the same would color as the ceiling or if you painted it black. It’s a bit too orangey now. Or it just looks like that on the camera. Great work on sourcing the material, doing the working and recording all of it. I don’t know if I would be able to do all of that. Plus do another job like you do 👏🏻 Oh also maybe consider adding some fun art inside to make it a bit moody toilet vibe.
