The first one I’m so happy she finished it even with the rude judges and all X. She proved them wrong! One time my art was criticized so bad I was ready to give it up. Thankfully I didn’t and I made that guy eat his words when I won an art competition he was one of the judges, which I didn’t know at the time. He didn’t know it was my artwork until after I won and my artist friend told him. Never give up! Never give in to the haters and doubters!

That was when she noticed the reality of art career now-a-days: People only finds out the "awesomeness" when they all see the final result...that takes just a few seconds to admire it all, but no one cares about the years of effort to bring art to the world like that, no one wants to see how much you work hard on it...as an musical artist, I feel her pain....every art is the same, the passion and the effort you put to reach such level...and only artists knows how does it feel when you want to do that 24/7, you have to deal with many other things as studying or, as people say: "Focus in a real job", or art-block that always is stressing, because you want to do art, but no inspiration or anything, everything you do frustrates you because it is not good enough...well, I'm going into too much details, I don't think anyone will care to read until here though, if you did...I thank you for being interested in my words. Glad that slowly, the "artsy world" is expanding slowly and is opening more chances to people. :)

@Suzanne: cuz you didnt live and witness things happened in ww2. In the end she wrote 1945 and the sentence means: you are near to us (which means in this case the father is far gone and sacrified in the war). And, the radio is the real voice recorded the reaction of people when the war begins!

I understood what she was doing from the planes at the start. Russia lost more people in death in then any country & it was not even close. They lost a total of 24 million people during WW2. It was a very sad time for them.

This grief has touched every our family. So many families experienced this pain when their father/brother/son/uncle didn't come back from the battlefield... And vice versa, when a man comes back home, only to find there a bomb crater in which his mother, wife and children have disappeared forever... And even those who managed to avoid deaths, they still grieve and they still remember, because they have at least one realtive who went through the horrors of war. My grandfather passed from Caucasus to Prague with a rifle in his hands, he received a fragmentation wound in 1942, nearly died while crossing the Kerch Strait on a raft, in Crimea his truck's wheels were destroyed by artillery fire, and he managed to repair them under bombardment, he was shot in the stomach in 1944... And each family has a story like that. That's why we will remember 1941-1945. And we will never forget.

She did. After she buzzed the older guy said: "There's still something!" And she just goes: "Come on! You can't see anything there!" And then the other guys buzzed too and pressured and teased the older guy into buzzing. I am German and understood them, so, even after 10 months, there you go!
