Amazing BANGKOK 2024! Most Underrated Night Market?

If you're thinking of visiting Bangkok in 2024 be sureI to you don't miss this lesser know area. i fell in love with the On Nut area of Bangkok a couple of years ago so I decided to stay in the area again. And the first thing I am doing in Bangkok is heading to my favourite Moo Pad Kra Pau location. No joke, this is the best I have had anywhere in the world and it's located in the On Nut area of Bangkok. Later in the afternoon I head over to the new On Nut night market for more delectable eats. sweet and sour sea bass, satay and more. If you're a foodie, On Nut is a location you should not miss on your next visit to Bangkok.

I was in Bangkok 2 weeks ago for a week. But I usually move around, not staying in the same area. Was in Ratchada 17, then moved to Phra Nang Klao Bridge Nonthaburi, then moved to Bangkapi/Ramkhamhaeng area. You should try the night market at Ramkhamhaeng area which is in front of Soi 65 Ramkhamhaeng. Have you tried Talad Nok Hook aka Owl market which is in Nonthaburi? They have a lot of food stalls and buffets. Another 1 of my favourite is Sai Tai Mai night market which is in Taling Chan. Love the Hoy Thod there.

Wow, you do move around A LOT. How long were you here for to move around that much? Those places are quite distance from each other. I have done markets in street food in all of these areas, many of them several years ago but not necessarily for a KZbin video. Will see what I can get done while am still here. Didn't plan on doing any more more night markets for videos but you never know.

@@PureDetour i was in bangkok for 9 days. Rented a scooter for 1 week and moved around a lot. Even went to Rangsit and Pathum Thani and came across a market with lots of cheap durians. On the 29th of May Burger King had a promotion for some food items at only 29baht each but the burgers were sold out fast...and many had long queues...

Super spicy, but I can't get enough of this dish. You being Filipina, think of an extremely spicier and juicier version of Tapsilog. That is the best way I can describe Pad Kra Pau. And I love it with every fibre of my being, Sadohr

The best and cheapest food is as always local restaurant food and small local streetsellers . If somebody isn't clean or cheat the local ppl force them to leave pretty fast often in1-2 days After +11 years working and living in Bangkok i have several "mommy places" as i call them like your " Moo Pad Kra Pao" place i return to over and over again just for the taste and pure love in the food=) Worst food are the tourist restaurants and foodsellers in tourist areas, they sell food to onetime customers they never se again.

I think the touristy areas are like that in every country. You can find good food in those kind of areas but it takes a lot of digging. I love finding these out of the way places where I am the only "white person" around. It's always the best food and the nicest people you will ever meet despite the language barrier. I have also fallen in love with the On Nut area. Stayed here two years ago and it is far enough out of the touristy areas that you see only a handful of expats here and there, yet easy enough to jump on the BTS and be in the thick of everything in minutes. Moo Pad Krapau lady is by far one of my favoruite finds in all of my travels

You are 100% correct, but please understand that I film these videos in a single day and I eat A LOT to be able to make them. Rice with everything is just not practical for what I am doing. And this video started off with Moo pad Kra pau which I did have rice with it. So that was my one portion of rice for the day.
