Fantastic video. Love your story telling and well done on the Bass. Water like chocolate up here in Norfolk so good to hear you’ve been catching down south 👍🎣

I agree about slack tides. I caught 6 bass in 3 days here in cork harbor on neap tides about 10 days ago. Spring tides not going so well. To be honest you can catch bass on any tides , it just depends in my opinion on water clarity and if weed in water or not.

Going to give bass fishing a proper go this year , been threatening to for a couple of years but just end up sticking with pike and perch . Been watching your vids whenever I’ve got time to try pick up tips about what lures to try and actually ordered a couple of longin lures before I’d watched this vid . Went for a franky 120 in chart back candy orange belly and a 112 wakeyboo in ayu and a komomo 2 in joker flashing plate . Also picked up the autowalker in emil , tide minnow in green mackerel and hound glide in candy from lure fishing for bass and a few others from veals and go outdoors . I’m waiting on a nebula to come and I’ll be putting a vanford on if there’s any in stock when I go for one

Well done on another fantastic vid! Your right about the tides.. like you, always try to pick my time, tide etc. But ‘Nature’ has a way of kicking you in the arse and throwing all the ideas out the window! No Job… sorry mate…wow that’ll halt you buying those expensive lures… Also I buy 2 of each lure just in case I catch on one and lose it …. There’s a spare in the box! Like the trick with the solder on the hook for weight. Keep the vids going! B

Thanks mate, buy two is a great idea especially with some of the lures we use lol take advantage while they're available 🐟🎣tight lines mate 😁

Like your videos Keith lots of info for newbies As for your kastking (I've been using for yrs) add or remove a felt washer If that don't help with line lay it could be ur over filling spool As for the lures you mentioned I've have done well using copies there's so many bass out there they will hit anything Tight lines
@bassmasterseliteuk33263 жыл бұрын
Yes great results lately and with the Champions league 😉 The line lays pretty good mate just get a loop over the spool sometimes 🐟🎣
@garyallen83 жыл бұрын
OK I get loops sometimes mainly while working a surface lure

Nice video mate shame about that auto Walker i had a nice bass session the other week all on a tackle house feed shallow about 15 yards out. The only bad thing was I got a small stone stuck in my reel as I went to retrieve it completely jammed and my brand new duo press bait 85mm sank straight into a sang. Oh well at least I’m not the only one loosing lures😆👌🏻. Hopefully the good weather stays good for some time and the bass fishing stays decent!! Tight lines mate 🎣🎣🐟

Glad your finding them to mate. Yes losing lose getting snagged is one thing but when its a wind knot or reel like yours its annoying to say the least. Tight lines mate 🐟🎣😉

Love the videos. I had my pb (53cm) the other day on a 15cm Sandwell coloured teaser. What size hooks are you using there, I had a 7/0 hook in, looks too big compared to the ones you’re using there
@bassmasterseliteuk33263 жыл бұрын
Hey Tom, nice one beating your PB 👏The hooks we use are all different as long as they are weighted for the tide, normally 5/0. Hope that helps 😉🐟🎣

Fishing is full of contradictions. So many times I’ve watched people and thought,he ain’t gonna catch bugger all there,only to watch them land a bar of silver minutes later! Just when you think you’ve sussed it,the fish change the rules eh?
@bassmasterseliteuk33263 жыл бұрын
They certainly do mate. Your right its funny what works for some and not for others. One bloke who fishes the same spot as us hasnt had a touch on the teaser but for us its been great...strange 🤔🐟🎣
@karlstokes8743 жыл бұрын
@@bassmasterseliteuk3326 damn those bass! They clearly haven’t read the rule book 🤣
