I feel truly humbled when reading through all these beautiful, encouraging and just amazingly heartwarming comments. Everyone of you should know that even though I do not answer all of them I am reading every single one and I appreciate them so much. WHO KILLED THE PIGEONS? We still don't know but I will definitely follow up in the next episode from Norway - and yes if the circumstances allows, I am planning to make more videos in this series. PLEASE BE AWARE If you are feeding the birds in your garden or elsewhere. Do not use bread as we do in this video. Bread is "empty" calories for the birds and do not provide enough fat/nutritions for the birds to survive the winter. If the birds get a lot of bread, it will take up place for the "real food" - just as if we were only eating candy. On this location there are thousands of hectares of untouched forest and plenty of food in nature. The bread we give to the birds is only a fraction of what they eat during a day, and therefore it should be seed as a snack rather than a meal. WHAT GEAR DO I USE IN THE VIDEO? Sorry for not mentioning the gear I am using in the video. I know many are curious about what tripod, tripod head, lens etc. I think there are videos enough on KZbin focussing on gear and tech and even though I am a Nikon Ambassador and that I every so often make a gear video, I do not feel my purpose on this platform is to encourage you to spend your money on new equipment . I would much rather inspire you to get out in nature and get some unforgettable moments with the gear you already have. I am looking so much forward to sharing my future adventures with you. See you out there... All the best Morten

I'm still willing to bet it was a falcon of some kind that he been murdering the pigeons. Can't wait for the next video is due course, at this time of year when we are stuck indoors, it's lovely to get cosy with a hot drink and watch your adventures.

Brilliant video and scenery is stunning! Thank you for transporting me to Norway :). If I had to guess it could be a hawk or a owl..Only leaving the wings... Raptors are unable to swallow those parts but it could always suggest it being a fox or a weasel..

Thanks for mentioning the bread, Morten. Using it is absolutely frowned upon in Scotland. Great video. I hope to visit Denmark and Norway next year and find your work very inspiring.

No one will see my comment 7 months after uploading the video, but this video makes me cry a little, especially at the views after ''plane crash" moment ... The beauty of this world, this nature and its inhabitants is as beautiful as it can be. I am an ecology student and being a naturalist is more than just a lifestyle, so you are my heroes. I am so thankful for people like you who do this work and share it with others. I agree with the other guys who tells that such trips are better than the official channels. I mean, it's not just about science or photographic, it's about our life.

that's a really good advice. Hustle is there in every work you wish to do. And I am practicing these things since three years and I really find the inner peace and solitude in the middle of the woodland. And I am aware that making a living out of art is really hard these days. And there is no guarantee of me reaching where I want to. But still, I wanna walk the path. By the way thanks for the chat dear.

I watched a Hollywood film last night and regretted it instantly. Several hundred people in the credits, cost a hundred million to make and it failed miserably like most films. Then I watched this. It's incredibly impressive on every level, and I can't wait until the net episode. The entire production has only two people in the credits?! Simply astounding! Bravo ❤🙏🌞🙌🔥

My favorite, slow paced wildlife channel on KZbin! BBC or NatGeo have nothing on your production and story telling. Seriously, the imagery, music and soundscape, and how you weave these trips in to an interesting story makes me jealous every time! I look forward to more winter content as always. Thanks for the amazing work you put out. Very inspiring!

I read some of the replies and surprised how some didn’t like you providing food for the birds. I fail to see how it’s different when people hang up bird feeders in their backyard and plant gardens all to attract birds. Several do that to take pictures. Others do it to enjoy the beauty and music. So don’t get discouraged on what they say. Keep up the excellent videos and thank you for sharing.

What a lovely place, lovely people... so peaceful and yet full of action. What a lovely video! As much as I enjoyed the bird watching it was so nice to see you taking the time to make friends with the horses and other animals... Funny, just yesterday as I was out in the woods with my camera, taking in all the beautiful autumnal colours that Canada has to offer, I also noticed the many variety of fungi and mushrooms that are so prolific this time of year. Then last evening I settle down to watch your video, (so excited), and what do I see... you taking photos of the fungi as well. :) Too funny! The sun will be up soon now, so I better finish my coffee and get myself 'out there'. Thank you, Morten for following your dreams. Thank you for enriching our lives. Big hug and cheers from Canada! I'm Norwegian and recently got into wildlife photography, this video felt so scandinavian in spirit. Loved it! Now I'm motivated to get back out there again.

Morton, this video is an extraordinary piece of work, in every respect. It is as good a nature and/or photography story as I’ve ever seen. You are to be commended. Thank you so much.

A really relaxed film just what the doctor ordered for a chilled afternoon’s viewing. Thanks Morten the production quality of this film is first rate and makes me want to visit Norway 🇳🇴 sooner rather than later.

What an ethereal experience you have brought to us! Thank you so much Morten for your wonderful storytelling and your ability to share peace with your viewers; I always tell people that nature heals us and these scenes have solidified that belief further. I am in awe of the variety and beauty within Norway, and you have validated my goal to visit one day. The combination of a wide, eagle-eye view of the Norwegian scenery laced with your conversational inputs made for an exceptionally well crafted viewing experience. Thank you again, you have definitely earned a new subscriber for life! Best of luck in all your future endeavors, and hopefully I can one day start a similar journey of exploring nature.

Stunning videography morton, I think you should contact the BBC to ask them if they'd be interested in commissioning a video from you. I think they probably would pay for something similar to this. They recently had a series on primetime TV self filmed by a canal boat enthusiast and the video and production work wasn't a patch on this. I think this would go down well on mainstream UK TV.
