Good morning Patrick & Stuart, I love the mosaic tiles. They are fantastic and you get them in beautiful colours. The great advantage with them is the fact, they do not break under foot, because the tile is smaller it can take the weight, any weight much better than the large tiles, they always seem to crack especially if not laid properly!! Sometimes people do not know what they are talking about! Again, it is your home, do as you please. There is nothing in any of the projects you have done that has any reason for criticizing. O.K. , it was also a lovely brocante, the small tables were very nice, done by skilled craftsmen, the chandelier is so smart, not as huge as the bigger brother but it will serve it's purpose, and there are rooms where you wish to have a smart light but there is no room for the bigger version. The crystals are very nicely cut, and being lead glass, it makes them more special. It would be lovely to see the flowers and the dogs!! Do have a most enjoyable day, take care. Many blessings. 🥰❤👍🥂🌼

Oh what a little lovely bijou of a chandelier❣️👌 So sparkling and pretty after your cleaning! All this circular re-use of lovely, useful things is so joyful. It's really no fun to just click and pay, or go looking for things brand new when anything you like is bound to be so much more expensive and less interesting and unique, when you can go brocante hunting for things like this, get a better price AND be more sustainable at that! You know, I think the person commenting on mosaics likely heard that about glass mosaics, which is true. The glass ones won't hold up well under foot, especially not in spaces where people wear shoes. But any stone, like marble will, and even stoneware ceramics can work too but is more fragile than floor tiles bc they're thinner, so probably less of a great choice for a guest WC where women may wear thin high heels. Marble of any kind is extremely durable, always. It doesn't however, take kindly to any form of Ajax-type cleaner, anything with chlorine or ammonia or any agent with organic acids. Also marble slabs in kitchens will turn dark and get stains from vinegar, tomatojuice, lemons, so one needs to be aware is all. Any natural fluid soap is all you need to clean it anyway. All the harsh chemicals are used far too often and are awful for pets, small children and respiration anyway. France has wonderful natural fluid Marseille soap with esssential oils of lavender, rose, lemon and (even Cedar or rosemary which is great for wood floors). In the US you can get Castille soap, or likely American varieties with pine sap at eco friendly stores, and they're all amazing and natural bug repellents too. I can't wait to see what you come up with for these smaller spaces! It's alot fiddlier to renovate them than larger ones, but the impact of just a few square feet of anything changes the entire space! Oh and doing questions now and then at the end of videos is a great idea! See you soon boys! 💕

Patrick, great job on the floor tiles, and you are absolutely correct. They will last year's. They also look beautiful. I love that chandelier and look forward to the installation. Be still my heart when I saw those two horses heard to head in love. How sweet was that. I loved that charity brocante. So many beautiful things I saw there. It was neat and well kept with good quality pieces. The Camilla is so beautiful. I just planted some daffodils and tulips on my front porch. It feels so good to be out in the garden. Spring is early here this year. It's my favorite season. Seeing everything come back to life renews our inner spirit with joy. I look forward to what you found for the chapel. Now I will be guessing. Yes, by all means, a few questions at the end of the show is a fabulous idea. My question is, do you have any favorite Easter recipes that you would like to share? Lately, I have been baking up a storm of things and indulging a bit too many desserts. I don't mind because after Easter we will be living on salads, especially when the weather gets hot. Take care. You both are looking great. Lots of love from me.❤

Hi sweeties. You can use mozaïek tiles for floors and walls. Even using two tone colours like walls and floors one tone and shower a second tone. It can look beautilful 😊 The little chandelier is cute and will look great in the little hallway. The glittering will reflect so beautilful in the mirror of the staircase. Dear Patrick and Stuart, a Q & A would be fun at the end of your videos. I love the unique, little chandelier. You always seem to find gems. The bathroom floor is bright and classic and completely appropriate for a chateau floor. The flowering plant behind you looks very healthy. Isn’t having a greenhouse a wonderful thing? I feel you are having an unusually early spring. When I look out my window I see snow that has not melted yet, no flowers and nothing is sprouting. You must love living where winters are not harsh and spring appears in February. Enjoy! Many hugs, xx!

The Chandelier is so pretty, I liked those side tables you were focusing in on camera. I did a bit of a change on my pond a few weeks ago, before the wildlife comes in, they were already in, a small frog and a newt, that usually means spring is early. Last year they did not arrive until May. Nice to know the Cranes are on their way North.

Had to laugh at that comment that the tiles won't be worse than the rug that was in there before! In a previous house the shower floor had those same mosaic marble tiles as what you showed. They were perfectly fine, and looked great! Of course it's a question of the right grout for a shower floor, less of a problem out of that area. Thanks for the tips on how to put the tile and grout down, especially the tip about the consistency needed for the grout! Love the chandelier reflected in the mirror when you guys are seated and talking. A trick I learned in the States for cleaning a crystal chandelier, spray it down with "scrubbing bubbles" bathroom foam. That's the name of the actual product. It even cleans the little connecting wires and the holes of the crystal. Lovely little "montgolfière" type of chandelier. It'll be great in its new location, so beautiful! Loved seeing the cranes. And yes, the Q&A will be great at the end!
