I like the Harvest changes. As a filthy casual I simply did not go into Harvest at all, because it gave me too much anxiety that I have to choose something **right now**. Still want to see a proper auction house/market place though.

I stopped doing Harvest because it's just so disruptive to the game's flow to suddenly bring your mapping to a screeching halt to micromanage crafting stuff. This is no longer a concern.

I'm hyped for this. I really liked Synthesis but it had two problems - That you couldn't easily move or rotate memories around, and that the zones decayed too quickly when inside them. They have taken all of the feedback from that League and reworked it into this, and seem to have fixed each of those core issues. The only new downside I can foresee is that the Lake zone looks quite small in the featured clips, but they mention that you would want to make ''long and winding'' lakes when you're at the end game so hopefully the tablets you build the encounters in become progressively larger. It should be good though.

Looks like Divine Orb is going to be your main high-value trading currency, as they increased in value 800% and exalts are tanking hard.... and the acquisition changes aren't even live lol. I think this is the biggest change to how we actually use currency in years. We could afford to be quite liberal with divine orbing our stuff, getting the rolls close to perfect for little cost. At the same time adding mods to items was prohibitively expensive and you'd almost never want to exalt-slam something. This league will be very different in this regard - you'll be able to slam quite leisurely (such as finishing off rare jewels) but rolls on unique items will matter way more than they currently do. Well-rolled Ashes of the Stars will be a lot more valuable than a shit one. Rare items get a free pass with harvest craft (hopefully this stays in the game - as it's only limited to rare items), we also get a way to easily make winged scarabs.

Harvest is going to be so ass now. GGG never makes sensible changes. You'll get a couple specific alchemy slams and a couple specific chaos rerolls. And you still won't exalt slam your items. Nobody wants 5 mana, just save the exalt for trading.

@@the_OG1893 you don't know what's going to be in harvest. My main usage of harvest was making good cluster jewels (by those alch / chaos crafts) and resistance swap crafts. Resistance craft is very useful - you no longer need a specific resistance on your equipment - just any resistance. Also infused kirac crafts might be a good dump for lifeforce. Infused ambush for example, better than regular 4c ambush. Or infused rampage.

Monster change and Archnem change are pretty good. The real problem that make melee unplayable isn't melee skill itself but it's monster mod and mechanic. By the way, this doesn't make melee become meta, just be in playable level.

Hard to say, they might just swap values. I feel like exalts are almost never used for their intended purpose these days, but divines might still be used on high tier uniques, so they will be used for both meta crafting and their actual use.

in terms of monster difficullty, sure but in terms of item acquisition, it will be much much harder. The changes of EX and Divine will be a net negative to the economy, make items much more expensive and lock out the people that just barely managed to use meta crafting out of it because of the increase in cost since Divine are much much harder to get now and are used for more than just Meta crafting like EX used to be. Think about it this way. EX managed to break 180c this league in price. And currently, they are *only* used for Meta crafting. Divines have only 1 incredible rare Divination card (EX have 6 or so), lost the Divine recipe, don't have splinters/shards while having not only Meta crafting locked behind them like EX used to but also stat rerolling on mods, making them even more needed. Divines are now multiple times harder to get than EX and are more useful then EX. This will at least double or tripple their price, if not more. Think about what this will do to the economy, crafting and item acquisition a bit

Though, that statement contradicts with each other since the changes to the cost of meta crafting actually make it even less accessible and there are very very few use cases for raw EX as a crafting option. They could have just removed the Divine vendor recipe without changing the cost and that would have done the things they said they wanted to achieve. Who knows what their real intention is or if this was just a change without thinking about the consequences
