I really really like the Atlas Changes that don´t force you anymore to play Maps only from one Region for your favorite Mechanic. I Love it.

the ascendancy jewels are actually s tier for endgame aspirational builds. Think about a slayer or champion that wouldn't say no to bleed explosions, challenger charges or block chadism and this can extend to other classes and ascendancies. There are some INSANE possibilities and I don't think people fully fathom the capabilities.

raider with masterful form probably going to be 15 mirrors per piece ambush and assassinate enables perfect agony builds. combine with master toxicist and 300% poison dmg on full life for a build similar to bleed glad (use assailum) or combine with shaper of flames for a crit ignite build chain reaction is mandatory to play traps. you can now play traps on other classes. deadeye with undeniable. or reverse. undeniable with anything will be another very expensive jewel. trickster with divine guidance or hierophant with weave the arcane to build a powerful MoM build. berserker with worthy foe for replica trypanon memes. this took 10 times longer to write down that to come up with. iam league starting as deadeye and like 80% of ascendancies will be a huge boost worth a few ex. so i wonder how rare those jewels will be. 5 ascendancies on anything is good, but one that you can pick? either this jewels have 0,1% drop chance, the bosses are extremly hard (like final fantasy kind of hard) or this will be one huge crazy powerspike.

@@hfweuiofnweuio500 If you are a Templar, you can get one of the Templar ascendancy nodes. If you are a Marauder, you can get one of the Marauder ascendancy nodes. They are class specific. So while it would be cool to think of stuff as you are, there is a limit to the utility.

with the new endgame chase jewels you can get some of the heiro juice on inquis too. Sanctuary of thought pretty much solves all mana problems and gives reservation, aoe and es.

Love the new passive tree instead of the old system and how 4 voidstones give T16 maps, which I wont reach ofc. Hope I get 2/4 at least!! U do know even without void stones u get t16, it's like the old atlas where there were 3 regions, white, yellow, red maps Now it's the same again, u go from white to yellow to red region up to t 16, but u can't rly sustain them bcs it's a low chance to get a red map when u also have white/yellow maps in the map pool. Now when u get to t14+ maps u get to have the chance obtaining the void stones through the bosses, with them u upgrade your map pool so it doesn't contain as many low tier maps. Up to 3/4 void stones where every map is t14+ then with 4/4 void stones u only got t16 maps So it's not necessary to kill all 4 endbosses to get to the endgame t16 maps, but sustaining them will be MUCCH easier

@@maxcimander188 Yes, which is a much better system than being gimped by weird watchstone mechanics playing ring around the rosie eight times to even start playing the game. Fight four bosses, sustain infinitely on preferred T16 maps with atlas passives/12 pref map slots/removal of red maps which are not T16. On top of that they removed the amount of time you have to spend in your hideout micromanaging watchstone crafts and bundled much of them into the system itself. The new changes simplify the system, reduce busy-work, and respect player's time.

The 4 Horsemen of the Beyond? Is this Pestilence, War, Famine and Death? heh I don't knooooow... one of them is "Insatiable Hunger" (Famine). "Crushing Darkness" could be Death? "Searing Flame" then this would be Pestilence and that sounds weird. "Merciless Wrath" is this War? Wrath and Gluttony (Insatiable Hunger) also fits with two if the 7 Deadly Sins. 3 more to come? Crushing darkness could be sorrow/despair? The attack she does where it "rains" could be giant tears. ;)

I havent enjoyed POE recently. I started in Harvest and loved the game but every league has felt mediocre to me as I feel im doing the same content over. End game was extremely confusing for me as a new player and even after playing 500 hrs it still didnt make much such how to progress efficiently to do end game content. All the end game changes make it seem more new player friendly and has me excited to jump back in and even has some of my friends who havent played because how complicated end game seemed to join me on launch day to play. Super excited!

I love the atlas changes for the most part, but I have mixed feelings about the voidstones all being gated behind top endgame bosses. To me it feels like it would have made more sense if all four were from the new bosses, so two were from the somewhat easier ones so you could expand your choices of tier16 maps a bit before getting to the point that you can beat the other two bosses.

I am not a fan of Bows.. but now it feels like even as a mage/spellcaster, you kinda need it to perform.. yeah I'm one of those in which purity means something, even if I adapt doesn't mean I like it.. And no new skills? I just began to understand the Atlas and they revamp it, passive skill tree, will have to learn again.. I wonder if one day they will make a stabled/fixed game.. And yes, they shouldn't punish solo players when they give more loot to parties.. They should respect those who don't want to play with friends, or they have no friends that like this type of game.. Anyway, my 2 cents.

The "normal" Atlas without voidstones still has a progression thru all tiers, so there are high tier maps in the "normal" version.

It looks like you have access to map tiers 1-16 from the start like how the map system used to operate. The voidstones are for upgrading the lower tier maps to t16 once you’ve progressed up to t16 the normal way.

No, you'll have plenty of time to understand that the implicit stuff isn't any harder than other crafting systems. You can learn as you try stuff. Kirac missions aren't hard, just a bunch of new additions. Watchstones are easier. You can choose which boss to go after by pressing a button and not thinking about it.

@@Dirgecaller It is easier than it looks! In reality you'll come across this new stuff slowly, and will learn how it works whenever you need to. For example you won't have to worry about the new "Eldritch implicits" very much, you can just throw one of the currencies on a good rare item. They work on boots, helmet, body armour and gloves.

The default Atlas has maps from T1 at the bottom all the way to T16 right at the top. 4 Voidstones upgrades all maps to T16
