Great video! Luv to see glass items! I always figure its knowledge I'm taking in. Tickled pink just to look! Agree w another viewer to see the glass items in that case! Think it's in the front of store. Looks very pretty in videos...but never a complete view. Well.....thank you!😁

Thanks for the vicarious trip to the auction house! There was an Art Nouveau bust at 3:22, and a metal, marble topped table at 5:36; those are what really caught my eye. Sorry you weren't able to pick up anything.

There is a small art auctioneer near me - they do four auctions a year. Most of the paintings are over $10K. The exhibits are absolutely fabulous, you can come and look at the paintings as long as you want. I have bid on a few things, but my limit is $5-6K which means I'd have to get lucky to win anything. If a couple of retail buyers really want a painting, an artist who never sold over $10K will suddenly take off into six figures. These collectors do have money.

Found a Fenton heart shaped jewelry box, pink luster hand painted and signed. Remember seeing it on the fenton show for sale on QVC back in the early 90's. They said it was very limited and cost (I think) around $150.All these videos I watch, where You Tube'rs show Fenton in resale shops I have never seen this piece. Have you ever seen it or know anything about it. Is it a treasure.

I’m glad I didn’t go to that auction. I absolutely would have spent too much of my hard earned $$$$$. There were some beautiful beautiful pieces there. I wouldn’t have been able to resist getting several despite the high cost.

What percentage of buyers were collectors, re-sellers? Junkin'with Lou only buys things she can triple the price to sell at her two antique store booths.---I think I mentioned once that I have a carnival glass tray, has an egg carton shape, with ombre colors that morph as you view from side to side. I've never been able to see another like it, to compare the cost of the $99 I paid for mine in a shop in Casa Grande.---I only see Swarovski in my local Casino gift shop, or in Solvang. The prices you were quoting were an average of 25% lower than what these pricey retail shops sell them for. Makes me wonder (again) who was buying, & for what purpose.---How long were you at this auction?

I’d say 75-25 to collectors and I was there for about 2 1/2 hours. Short auction and would have loved to ask that question to the buyers

i can't help but think that whomever sponsored and/or advertised this particular auction forgot to specify for collectors only, because, i'm sure for those who actually bought totes, must of thought the same as you... just how many of those totes were filled??

Honestly quite a few the collectors ruled that auction and if I would of known the auction would of been that small I would of guessed that is how it would of gone
