Garth Brooks has wonderful songs from ballads, blues, to almost rocking country! 💙 This song was covered by him for a movie called Hope Floats starring Sandra Bullock and Harry Connick, Jr.

I am not a country fan but Garth Brooks trandscends genre. I saw him live and he is genuine. He was moved to tears twice and he moved others to tears. This is a beautiful rendition of this song.

Garth: Live from Central Park was a concert held by Garth Brooks on August 7,1997. The concert was free of charge and became the largest concert ever held in the park, with an estimated audience of over 1,000,000. It was filmed and broadcast live on HBO. Garth is one of the greatest, most humble music entertainers in the world. Along with Freddie Mercury. There's only a handful of artists with that title. Garth is a Boss!!! RIP Freddie.

an, @ 7:43 The "old lady" you were referring to was his Mom, Colleen, (1999) and his Dad, Troyal, was next to her (2010). His mom, Colleen Carroll McElroy Brooks, was a country singer in the 1950's. Sadly, she passed away about three months after this performance by Garth. You really put your foot in your mouth with that comment, Van. Lol. Rip Colleen Carroll and Troyal Raymond Brooks Jr.

Love Garth, his albums are legendary, as a matter of fact He is the all time leading artist(singular) for album sales in all of music history regardless of genre. The only one above him is a band... from Liverpool....The Beatles. Garth. He has an alter ego that he created to release pop/rock music. ...Chris Gaines...LOL that interpretation....Adele might be confused on her version.

This is also one of my favorite versions. However, Teddy Swims does the best in my opinion, hands down. Van, if you haven't checked out Teddy Swims, you definitely need too!
