I grew up catholic then went to Christianity. when I came across the reliability of the Bible, studying textual criticism and higher criticism on authorship I had no choice to deny Christianity even though it hurt me because I believed in this my whole life. I came across the proof of corruption within the Bible so I could no longer believe in that, because if I chose to ignore/look the other way towards the evidences then that puts me in delusion. So that's where your sincerity kicks in and you submit to Allah azzawajil and accept prophet Muhammad alaihi salatu wa Salam as Allah's final messenger. Christians wake up! Our habibullah is the best of mankind and taught the same message as Musa and Issa and Ishmael and Ibrahim may Allah bless all of them and that message is Tawheed. I honestly started studying other religions and Islam was the last one that I studied and never thought I would subscribe too. The beauty of Islam is that there's a chain of transmission and biography of the transmitters. Unlike the bible the authors are anonymous and the script has changed due to variations of manuscripts.

Daud بسم الله first of all no script has been changed. Many scholars, including agnostics, argue that these variations do not affect the Christian theology. Secondly, the authors have been identified through the early church tradition. Thirdly, Quranic manuscripts have tons of variants even though Muslims burned down two times as far as I remember the qurans with text variants. Fourthly, as far as I know the oral transmission isn’t clear when we talk about the hafs Quran or I would say it’s broken?! Right? I don’t know from were you get your information but I suggest you shouldn’t only read Muslim scholars. Actually you should focus on early Muslim scholars and mostly non-Muslim scholars.

Yang pertama adalah kebiasaan yang berbeda dalam berdiskus, di Indonesia yang saya ketahui tidak ada cara berdiskusi seperti di speaker corner's, walaupun ada maka hasilnya perang seperti kejadian saudaraku hamzah vs bob dan abu jahal grup walaupun itu belum dikategorikan perang tapi sudah menimbulkan kerusuhan dan kami tidak mau itu terjadi di Indonesia. Tapi saya bisa memaklumi kondisi di negara itu khususnya di speaker corner's. Yang kedua saya ingin tim scd dakwah mengenal para muallaf di Indonesia yang sebelum masuk islam dia adalah misionaris gereja barang kali itu bisa membantu dalam scd dakwah di speaker corner. (Matthew 2:15). If you have a Bible with footnotes, it will direct you to Hosea 11:1 for the prophesy. Hosea 11:1 reads, "When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son." Reading on, we see Hosea 11:2, giving more context, says, "But the more they were called, the more they went away from me. They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to images." From this context, we understand that the verse isn't a prophesy at all, but rather it is talking about the children of Israel as a whole, particularly those who were in rebellion against God and worshiping Baal. Now Jesus surely doesn't fit that description, and there is no prophesy here about the Messiah. So this means Matthew either was ignorant of the verse, in which case how could he have been inspired by God to write this, or he was not inspired at all and deliberately misquoted the verse. Which is it? 2) Hebrews claims, "Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: 'Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, 'Here I am--it is written about me in the scroll-- I have come to do your will, my God.'"'" This refers to Pslam 40:6-8. But here's the text of that passage, "Sacrifice and offerings you did not desire - but MY EARS YOU HAVE OPENED - burned offerings and sin offerings you DID NOT REQUIRE. Then I said, "Here I am, I have come - it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, my God; YOUR LAW IS WITHIN MY HEART". Now why would Paul change, "my ears you have opened", to "a body you have prepared for me"? Why would he change not even requiring any sin offerings in this context to not being pleased with sin offerings? And finally, why did he tacitly cut off the last phrase in the passage he was quoting, which refutes his whole theology by saying that the Messiah will uphold God's law? The answer is that Paul, or whoever wrote Hebrews, was again either astonishingly ignorant or malicious. The answer of Jesus in John is indeed important. Not because it would be metaforically (because it is not), but to make a comparison. If (even) those people are called gods moreover Jesus because he is set apart by the father. Moreover: if this was Jesus defense to say he is not God it would be a very poor one because in John 10: 39 the Jews still try to kill him. If he would want to deny he was God he would have said it more plainly and the Jews wouldnt want to kill him anymore. And about John 17: Jesus does indeed say there he is one with the father meaning he has the same goal as him. He is not the same person as the father (het is the person of the Son), but still one God with the Father and Holy Ghost. If we he would not be God why then: has he received power over all people and has the power to give eternal life (John 17: 2). And why has the Father given him people? God would not do that to merely a human. And Jesus has had Majesty with the Father before the world began (John 17:5). Scripture should always be read in context.
