Thanks for the demo, very professional filming. But am I right in saying that all tone samples were from your strat's neck pickup? Why no other (particularly bridge) pickup positions?

I can't remember if I only used the neck pickup, sorry... That said, from memory, the bridge on the guitar I was using was actually a humbucker. For me, the HRM pedal really shines on single coils-because it's so damn fat sounding!

@@lukezecchin It definitely sounds very fat, besides just beautiful. I'm getting one for my Strat. Thanks so much for putting this demo out there 🎶

Absolutely not the sounds I have with mine. I am afraid their new serie got some bad mods... Thanks for the great test. But Best it to show the pedal tested going direct in the amp... Chain should be Guitar-Pedal-Amp thats it. Mine is extremely wind noisy at 12:00 settings, only way to low down noise is to set Vol AND Gain at 9... then no point to use a pedal...

If you think that your pedal may be faulty, I'd encourage you to take it back to your place of purchase. If they won't help, I'm certain J. Rockett customer service will help you out. That said, noisy pedals can also be a result of a noisy power supply or guitar. So it's possible the issue is a combination of things. Anyway, best of luck. Cheers.

Thanks for your comment, but no way to be an external issue. I did compare the HRM vs my Simbel, my vinage TS9 and even the Golden Cello, with same power source/cables/ guitars. only the HRM is noisy. By the way the Simbel is more close to the Dumble ODS. I have 2 ODS clones. Will make a video comparaison before to return it.

I'm sure it sounds nice in person, but not hearing much here to impress me. I like the look of the pedal though.

No worries. Personally, I love how this things sounds. But that's the beautiful thing about pedals... They're all different. There's a endless buffet of tones to choose from! Cheers ; )

Just got a Vertex Dynamic Drive V2 for 100€( dynamic clean > marshallish drive): blends seamlessly to my other ods, not just glued on top!! the blending and dynamics are reason enough to get the pedal, I rarely play heavy leads anymore, + the Vertex is not midhumpy, I really dislike midhumpy pedals...
