The tease is that it is an entire Echoplex circuit front to back not just the preamp. It will also run off of 22.5 volts like a real Echoplex. This is a very well done, and accurate demonstration of the HRM. This review had a lot to do with my purchase of the HRM. Even though I also own The Dude, there is enough difference in the aggressiveness, and mids of the HRM to set it apart.

The Dude is more of a true "Dumble" thing so it leans more towards the traditional. The HRM has more of a Marshall mid thing. They both feel about the same.

Another intriguing pedal .... it’s a matter of personal taste but I guess that with a touch of delay or reverb ...and why not both ....this pedal would sound awesome. With your playing flavour it would then become way more awesome again.

You know it's the exact same controls on the Blue Note. (Of which I own one and very much like) It sounds like a high gain version of it. Like they took the high gain chanell on the original blue note and made it into a separate pedal
