If you move spoil from other areas of the quarry to create a softer pad for the fall you could avoid uncontrolled splintering like in 9:20, I'm not impressed.

Если на поверхности блока сделать надрезы соответствующие нужным размерам блока удобным для транспортировки, то процент брака при неконтролируемом разрушении блока стал меньше.

I've been breaking rock and reinforced slabs for decades, they should toss it down on tires, this way it stays in one piece, then they can wire saw the pieces, they're losing so much product that way...

To me, it looks like they are using slightly under-powered equipment. There are certainly larger machines that could do it faster and safer.

Да не ну что ты там люди гранит руками шлифовали, а потом верёвками тянули и ставили друг на друга. Тут просто машины дохлы какие-то еле тянут блоки, а вот рабы в Гизе норм могли поработать и всё в срок сдавали.

We use tires on my mining projects, we have hundreds of used tires we set them below the drop and it plops down nice, then we wire saw the granite and lose nothing to damage

They also could have cleared the landing area of rock. The rock in the landing area made the landing stressful on the slab by making the landing forces uneven and concentrated in some spots

I suspect the whole point is to break it into smaller pieces, think about how much labor it saves. Also consider that the loader struggles with much smaller pieces than that giant block.

좀더 이야기 하면 산에가니 밤송이가 잔뜩 덜어져 있어서 보고 망테기로 줍었다. 그래서 팔려고 보니 이것을 재대로 팩킹해서 오라고 했다,당근에서 기계를 헐값에 사서 갖다 놨더니 밤따는 장비를 버리고 같다. 오~ 때큐다. 그것이 지금의 현실 이다.산에서 다람쥐 들이 옆에 서서 도토리 하나씩 쥐고 넋놓고 있더라.
