I was also shocked at how few bums you saw at those hours. St George Street lately isn't as family friendly as it was.

There were plenty of people sleeping on that street for sure. They just didn’t show up on camera while I was walking. I didn’t want to disturb them it was 6am

That first creek right there that you were fishing is where I caught my biggest slot red to date. Right up that creek past the cross there’s an old broken dock with a smaller creek that pours into it Great spot.

Do u know where it is? I would like to catch my first red there
@StaySaltyOutDoors7 ай бұрын
@@MatthewDebarros I do know where it is yes. We call it hospital creek here in st Augustine. It’s the creek that runs behind the giant cross that is down town st Augustine. The best way to access it for a kayak is to drive like you are going to the Vilano boat ramp and the first tiny bridge you come up on right after you drive over it before the boat ramp you can pull off to the right and park and put your kayak in right in that creek or to fish it from land you can go right there or to the end of pine street. The best way to fish that creek is kayak for sure. Go at high tide and you put in right there at the little bridge and you can go under the bridge towards the def and blind school and there’s another little bridge you go under it and it opens up to a big whole full of fish as the tide goes out drift back out to where you put in and fish the grass lines I’ve caught a lot of good fish in that creek over the years I’ve fished it but it’s either you’re catching fish or none at all in that creek there is no in between lol. But look up the Vilano boat ramp just west of it you will see a small bridge the crosses over this creek that’s the best spot to access it. If you go by boat you can access it by driving all the way around the inlet and coming in the other side of the creek but you’ll only be able to go about as far as that bridge. A lot of other KZbinrs would n this area go here to catch reds it’s a well known creek for it in this area I won’t give you all the secret spots there you will have to find them your self but the whole creek in general has good fish in it.

I’ve got trips planned so I doubt I’ll be able to break away. Best bet is to stick watch my latest video and repeat what we did. Stick to the creek mouths along the intercostal. Near the main bridges of st Augustine INCREDIBLE Flounder bite kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXe5g6yrjZ6FZ5Y

Can you fish from land there?
@staugustinesandmanfishing Жыл бұрын
You can fish on the North side of the fort in the designated area. Tip: Use topwater lure or suspended bait from a bobber or popping cork to avoid the oysters.
