Hi evan. I was thoroughly dissapoinnted by this video because the title is a big ol lie. The girl does not participate sonically at all. In fact, she doesn't even ask them to start playing. WHy would u say she started the flash mob. I am eating really good pasta that my cousin martina made and i can't even enjoy it anymore because this video appalled me. Please change the title, for me--if not for your pride. God bless. I'll be checking back tomorrow. Regards.

According to another story i heard, this happened in Spain. And the guy was not going to start playing unless someone showed interest in his music. It seems that people didn’t want any more musicians in that square, because there had been some quarrel between street music players.

The biggest take away is that my conductor has much better conducting then the video. My plan is to follow my conductor and not fall behind since Tuba is a long instrument and the sound can get delayed by how long it is.
I almost find the peoples reactions more facinating than the perfomance itself. They are just in awe and forget time and place. I never get tired of watching this.

@gomphrena-beautifulflower-80433 жыл бұрын
Alas, man cannot and will not. The heart is much too fickle. The “deep quality” within us surely is the raw yearning for something bigger than ourselves; yea, much bigger, though never gregariously overwhelming. Just what *is* this common denominator? It can only be one thing - and let all nature and the universe attest - that deep and abiding longing for God Himself, our very Creator and Sustainer. It is a foretaste of the coming uniting with Him and the Son in Oneness forever and ever. Ode to Joy, indeed.

Every time I hear Ode to joy from beginning to end I still and will always gets chills all over. If I have a funeral when I die, I want this piece playing at full volume. This and moonlight sonata are my absolute favorite pieces of music ever.

Such amazing choices-both are pure masterpieces! Ode to Joy at full volume would be so powerful and moving. What do you love most about these pieces? #Believe - Feb (from Evan's team)
@ranakeen988411 күн бұрын
@ I was about 5 years old when I heard moonlight sonata. I was very ill at the time and couldn’t get out of bed. I only had my little child record player and only one record. It was a compilations of children’s stories told by a man with a British accent. I had listened to it over and over until I couldn’t listen to it anymore so I crawled out of bed and went through my father’s record collection and picked 2 out because of the beautiful pictures on the covers. One was Ravel’s Bolero and the other was Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. I don’t know how to describe the gut-punch I experienced when I listened to Moonlight. It was so profound and deep a feeling that later, much later, when I learned about Beethoven and his life story and about the abuse of his father which led to his deafness……I can’t help, but weep when ever I listen to these 2 pieces of music. And, could there ever be a piece of music that captures the feeling of pure joy more than his? I think not.

Back in 1989, my school choir was one of several chosen to be part of the "1,000 Voice Choir" at Disneyland to set off the Holiday Season. After we finished performing, we were allowed to play in the park, and of course just about everyone ran to Space Mountain, and the line was really long... Out of boredom, I casually started singing one of the carols, and my friends joined in one by one. Then it spread to others in our immediate area, and so on, until it seemed everyone in line was singing 8-parr harmonies... Back then there was no formal concept of a "Flash Mob", but it was still really fun.
